Now why should I care what you say above. Who cares what you or anyone says? The reason is that false ideas will inevitably lead to more false ideas. There will be people like Doc who simply accept the false idea and there will be people like DJ who say that the false idea is more important the the context of the text from which the false idea is taken.

Gullible people will remain gullible but that does not mean we should ignore people who stand as leaders who teach errors. Whether there are 1000's of denominations or not. The argument that there are other's preaching errors won't work any better then when you get a speeding ticket and you say but look at all the other speeders.

Everyone preaches errors.

I don't think we should do away with all preachers.

That is good Jon is there any place I said to do away with all preachers?

It is strange how someone can stand up for truth and yet purposefully tell untruths and yet to point out his untruths is taken to be an offense against the person telling the untruths.

Just as amazing is that no one here defended Batchelor's misuse of the verse except DJ who claimed it was a principle not found in the text then he was not able to give us where the principle came from. Not much of a defense. Of course if people were better informed they would see just how often Batchelor does this and just how much of his facts are indeed fiction.

Just because something is labeled "chrisitan" or "holy" doesn't make it so.

The worst kind of evil is always something that looks good on the outside but is rotten on the inside.

2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Acts 20:29
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

And so on.... but what you should do is seek first God's kingdom, and do not base your faith on other people, base it on God's word. You need to read it regularly.
Check out these cool sermons on seeking God.

Diana all I can say is wow. I would be more confuse than ever for some of things posted. Too many over doers if you ask me.

To answer you questions about the unclean and clean meats read Isa 66:15-17.

Jewelry, clothing and all should be simple. I am known as the SDA who look deeply into the meaning of words. I am not trying to indoctrinate you with a lot of unecessary things. I just want to simply answer the questions. The latter one needs some understanding. Ancient people wore ornaments in respect to their deities. The braiding of hair they would make very elaborate designs of animals and things related to nature and their deities. All you need to know is that somethings spoken refer to what was taken place at that time. The Greeks that joined the church wore elaborate clothing, jewelry, hair dos that needed to be changed. Today we have gone astray as well. I would never wear jewelry on the Sabbath but come to worship the Most High. But there is nothing wrong with jewelry that is simple its your pleasure. Just do not make it a coveting thing as in cars, houses, boats or anything else. Yes do it all in the glory of Elohim but He is not asking you to not to have things of enjoyment. Don't spend a lot of money that could be used to help others. Keep it simple, clean and nice.

Judah, Joseph, Daniel all wore jewelry it is not a sin. The sin comes when you put it above Elohim. Many come to church on Sabbath with jewelry and clothing, so others can compliment them instead of complimenting the Creator.

The Holy Spirit is like water you drink the more you need the more you get until you are full. As we study the word of Elohim it is the Holy Spirit that will lead you into truth not the preacher. When you obey what you know and keep seeking He will fill you up with truth-end of story!

Shouting is an expression or feeling that one feel and it is not the Holy Spirit. But when one finds joy in anything it makes them happy. But all of us may express it in a different manner. However in Revelation the 24 elders threw their crowns down before the Father and shouted holy holy and worship both Him and the Lamb. In Job the Bible said that the morning stars (the angels) sung and the sons of Elohim (the unfallen beings from all the other worlds) shouted for joy. So there you have it.

Blessings keep the faith in the true message my sister,

According to the Bible there is no foods unclean to a Christian...
...Unless that food was offered to an idol and the person serving it makes a big deal about it.
...Being offered to an idol.

1 Cor 10,25
Eat ANYTHING sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience. I am referring to the other person’s conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience? If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for?

If one feels that they should eat only nuts and fruit then they have liberty from Christ to live by that diet....
...However when a person maintains that all should eat by such and such a diet.
...They have terminated liberty in Christ and entered into the cultic rubric.
