In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. The four seal barrers shinned in the midnight environment, peircing shadow and darkness. The Shadowkin cloaked themselves from the blinding light. Oden flow up over the crouds of Shadowkin with his hands crossed to his chest. As he began to unfold them, the waterfalls surrounding him began to rumble. The water that was falling from the falls began to twist and turn towatds Oden. When Oden's arms were fully extended, the water dodged him and shot towards the Shadowkin. The water twisted into a sharp spear like shape running through many of the Shadowkin(like a shishcubob :)). Oden then dived down into the Shadowkin with the other three seal barrers not far behind.

hey, very good post! i like it. :) (doesn't matter if you "hated" it, will!) hehe.

oh yeah, i agree with ya, Doctor's quotes in the beginning of his posts are cool, they add more depth to the story. :)
----

Clise had no idea who this man was but she realised that he was the new water seal bearer once he demonstrated the power of the water seal. For once, something good had happened, maybe they were not losing this battle afterall. Keeping close to the others, the four of them descended upon the Shadowkin and joined forces as they combined the power of the seals.
----

"Look!" Lorgain shouted, pointing to the four distant light among the Shadowkin. Patyrn was right beside him, she had been around healing the injured all day, actually, since the beginning of the battle.

"Does that mean you can use the seal?" Lorgain said, his eyes narrowed in speculation. There was little doubt in his mind as he watched the four, cutting their way through the Shadowkin like a dull knife sliding through a block of butter...... a dull knife.

He turned to Patyrn abruptly, a seriousness in his eye. The two of them said at the same time,
"You have to join them!" Lorgain began.
"You're right!" Patyrn said in realisation.
----

"What's happening?" the King of Eyre said in alarm as four lights dropped among the Shadowkin, enveloped in the light were four figures that he couldn't quite make out.
Aridol ran forward a few steps to the direction of the light, squeezing his eyes to try to see clearly.
"Aridol!" someone shouted. Aridol turned to see someone pushing through the crowd to him. It was Roen, the gem seal bearer.
"Roen," he said in bewilderment, "What're you doing here?"

Roen's eyes were directed at the four column of lights, "You know what this is? Four of the seal bearers have activated the seals. We must join them."
"But we don't have the seals," Aridol protested, when it came to magic, he was absolutely clueless.

Roen grabbed Aridol's hand and said urgently, "Just concentrate on the seal you've been given. Use my mind as a guidence."
"Your mind?" Aridol asked, he was completely lost.

Once Roen started to think on the seal, his mind linking with Aridol's, Aridol understood what he meant. It wasn't as hard a task as he thought it may be. The seals responded quickly to his call, in fact, he found himself suddenly flooded with the power of the life seal that he felt as if he was going to burst.

Direct it towards the four. Roen's voice came into his mind. Without hesitation, Aridol did so, the life seal following close behind the gem seal.
----

Two beam of lights shot out from where Aridol and Roen stood, at the same time, a beam of light leaped out from Patyrn with Lorgain standing guard beside her. The lights soon found their target and joined up with the four in the midst of the Shadowkin. As the lights met and became one, the four columns of light swelled suddenly in size. The battlefield was instantly filled with cries of the Shadowkin and those nearest the light were instantly consumed, their sad essence dispersing in the wind.

YAH BABY!!! Awsome post Blessed, that was cool!! It was like I could see that happening in my mind. Great post. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
The awsome light that the seven seal barrers consumed the entire city. Yells and screams of agony and fear could be heard all around! The Christian soldiers cheered as the Shadowkin's numbers began to diminish. The battle seemed to be coming to an end.
Oden looked around and watched the Shadowkin turn and flee. The other three began chasing after groups of Shadowkin that were heading into their deep cravasses. Odren did the same diving into a nearby cravass. Oden swung his weapon of white flame, stabbing and slicing every Shadowkin in sight. The others that didn't come in deadly contact with Oden's sword either were burned severly or insinurated! The other three seal barrers also began particapating in the fight. Finaly, a hope for the Christian poeple, one that had long been prayed for. Suddenly, a great quake shook the earth. Satan's rath still was at hand and right now he did not appritiate his most powerful army being taken out like bugs. His furry and hatred gushed out of the cravasses, grabbing hold of all seven seal barrers! Oden's power seemed to be becoming weaker. His glow and his firery sword began to diminish slowly! Then, a vision entered Oden's mind.
~~vision~~
It was Vialla. She stood among the forgers of the great seals of power. Every Christian race stood, seperatly holding the seals. They all glowed with their seperate colors. Then, a representative of the races began to walk forwards holding a seal. As they got closer to eachother, a great light overcame the room. The light shot out from the roof and pierced every darkness that covered the earth.
~~end of vision~~
At first, Oden didn't understand what had happened but as he pondered the vision, it came to him. "We must reunite the seals to overcome all evil. I must get the others." said Oden flying towards his fellow seal barrers.
Freezia held bluebane in front of her, pointing at the nearest group of advancing Shadowkin -- now feeling pain, being inflicted by the one thing they hated -- light. Shadow vs. Light . . . the eternal duel. Blue flames sprung up wherever the lasers came into contact with flesh, and the Shadowkin recoiled in agony as the light first burned the robes from their bodies then destroyed them utterly. "Onward, Christian soldiers!" came the rallying cry from among the remaining armies, as they poured after the retreating Shadowkin, their cries filling the air. Then all of a sudden, the voices stilled. The Shadowkin ceased their retreat and unveiled themselves in the presence of their king, terrible eyes staring from perfect, unmarred masks, their spears and blades glittering red and white as they raised a thicket of weapons above their heads and stood in perfect formation, terribly bright -- the Shadowkin, Windsong that of old fell under the dominion of the Black King; thralls and slaves, their lives bound to his will.
The Christian armies drew back, warily, wielding their own weapons in an uneasy stance. A dark cloud of smoke and shadow rose above the distant hills and decended upon them, as the rumble of what remained of Erulan's assorted armies converged upon them. Freezia raised her bow, and the renowned Hahaelli archers did the same, each drawing a bead on a goblin or orc, but holding their fire until command. The cloud began to darken, then condense in the skies above them, in the shape of a giant shadow dragon. Freezia heard the deep sigh of Clise in the dead silence that followed, as both armies waited. The dragon's slender neck arched delicately towards them, and it's fanged jaws seperated, a blast of fire scorching overhead. Freezia fired her arrow, and the hiss of arrows zipped by her ears as her silver hair blew a little as the arrows passed so close. She raised her sword, and bluebane flickered crimson in her hand.
"Jesus!" She called. "For Jesus!" Then she plunged forward, alone. The golden blaze ensconced her once more and the Shadowkin parted. The shadow dragon dropped down upon them, and they perceived that Erulan himself was the rider. Clise whistled shrilly, and sprang aside from a fiery blast. Kyne dropped out of the growing shadows and struck the shadow dragon, knocking him off balance. The Christian armies poured forwards to meet Erulan's skeletons, trolls, goblins and orcs as Freezia alone pursued what was certain to be her fate among the strengthened Shadowkin. Soon, she, too, would unveil her hidden power. Tears streamed from her pale eyes which blazed with their own light, her hands sweeping like scythed, filled now with steel, then with blue flame.
And a golden light hung over it all.
Patyrn saw the black dragon fighting Kyne directly over where the lights had met, its rider whom she couldn't tell who he was, had fallen over to the midst below. A great disturbance seemed to be appearing from where the fight was most intense. Wringing her hand, she scolded at her own helplessness. If only she could be where Freezia and Clise were. As the feeling burnt in her, she raised her hand and sent a huge sheet of fire that shot into the Shadowkin, comsuming them and burning them, making them truly a useless shadow.
----
"Wooo, what the?" Taren muttered, slashing ahead with his gleaming sword... a sword that shone red under Freezia's light. The earth was trembling beneath them, the King of hell moving, shrieking in anger and renewed flame. Taren gave Clise a tap and dropped down onto the ground, his hand placed on the soil. Understanding his signal, Clise held her ground beside him, giving all those who ventured close a cut from her long thin blade.
Drawing in his concentration, he focused on the earth in contact with his hand. Almost immediately it began to subside, the area around Taren stabilising first before a wave from the earth seal bearer spread out in all directions, calming the rocking earth and infusing a barrier that blocked the entrance of hell's army to the surface.
The mighty dark dragon dodged a fire ball from Kyne and sprayed acid and flame onto the Armies of God. The men scremaed in agaony as the acid melted their skin and the flames burned their flesh. Seeing this, Oden immediatly rushed into the air holding his mighty sword into the air. A silent but strong wind blew around him picking up water from the falls. The waters from the falls flew into the air and came down upon the soldiers. Quickly, the acid and flames were washed off of the soldiers. Oden then dived into a croud of Shadowkin, slicing and dicing into the scared and torn flesh. As Oden faught enemy with great skill, he accidently bumped into the one known as Taren.
"Fellow seal barrer, we must regroup." said Oden.
Taren nodded excusing the fact that he had no idea who Oden was and followed him.
King Emerick and Queen Morwen ordered their armies into full advance. The archers of the Ether Hills fired their arrows into the dark dragons flesh. The dark dragon roared in pain as arrows in the hundred pierced his soft underbelly.
"Something must be done about this dragon. It is greatly defeating our forces." said Taren flying along side Oden.
All of a sudden, a bolt of lightning struck the two fellow seal barrers, sending them plumiting onto the ground. Groaning, Oden looked up to see A single Shadowkin standing before him. How can a Shadowikin use such power? though Oden.
"I am no mear Shadowkin." said the dark cloaked figure. As the cloaked Shadowkin opened it's palm revealing a ball of flame, a blast of light nailed the lone Shadowkin, sending it flying. Oden looked over to see Taren stumbling towards him. Oden quickly got ot his feet and helped Taren regain his barring.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

The lone Shadowkin is the leader of the Shadowkin. She's extremely powerful. She's a dark mage. I forgot what name I had planned for her, so...

Freezia blew a sharp whistle between her teeth, and the remaining four eagles dove sharply out of the clouds, converging upon the dragons in a burst of scale and feather. Two were sent flying instantly, sad bundles of torn flesh and silver whisps.

"Come on . . . " Freezia muttered, her bow string drawn to the limit, two arrows on the string. Another eagle was sent spinning away, no match for the dragon. The last fought bravely on, the smallest bird of all, and no match in any term against the Shadow Dragon, except it was far, far faster. In, out, up and around, it spun, fluttered and pecked, aided by Kyne, who was slower than either and fast falling behind. Finally, the eagle gave one last plunge, attaching its claws behind the dragon's ears and wrapping it's strong wings around the red-glittering eyes. For one moment, the dragon's head snapped way back and it was stretched tailtip-to-nose.

Zia released her arrows, and felt the tears sliding down her cheek. One arrow bounced harmlessly off of the dragon's shoulder, but the other one pierced the soft folds of skin underneath the throat, but also killed the lone surviving eagle, who had sacrificed itself so graciously.

Freezia slid to the ground and wept openly. So the last of the Windsong eagles was dead, and the last of the Windsongs would soon be. Bluebane fell from her hand as she covered her eyes with her hands, shuddering.

oh, Reon's somewhere in or out of the city (i dunno as we didn't write her in the story), Roen, the gem seal bearer, is with Aridol right behind the Shadowkin in black.
----

When Taren realised that Clise and Freezia were not right behind him, he retraced his steps to where they were before, leaving Oden to deal with the Shadowkin cloaked in black. "Just hold!" he said apologetically.

Freezia's inaction was too easy to fathom. Taren quickly grabbed her left arm as Clise, relieved that he was here to help, grabbed the other. Together, they half ran and half hauled the Windsong along with Clise sending blasts of wind ahead to clear up the path. As the enemies were thrown into the air to land upon their own comrades, Taren was glad that he could see Oden once more (though he still didn't know his name), who was flying just a few paces ahead of them, but was still being blocked by the mysterious Shadowkin.

Above, the diversion caused by the four valiant eagles had allowed Kyne a clear shot at the black dragon. Their effort had also bought the little time needed for Liah to send some reinforcement over. Roars of fury, anger and pain of the dragons echoed ear splittingly in the air. Hammering at the black dragon with fire, teeth and claws, the black dragon was overwhemingly outnumbered. Even though it managed to wound and kill a couple of its opponents, the outlook for it was grim. Clise prayed fervently that Kyne would make it out alive. She couldn't find a word to comfort Freezia, not when she was busy trying to find a way out of this dark swarm. Sparing her friend a glance, whose expression revealed the deep pain inside, Clise doubted anything she said would help now.

I seven barrers of the seven seals of power, who had once powerfully ripped into the heart of the dark armies, were now beginning to fall. Their shinning glows had begun to diminish, their strength was weakening. The strain of the power in their vains began to become too intence for their bodies to handle. Everytime Oden worked and molded the waters to his will, a great pain rushed through his body and mind. Time was running out, precious time. Oden and Taron had gathered Rone and Clise, but three others still were unreachable. A wall of nonstop arrow fire blocked the path.

Paige looked watched the battle, as she rested. The seal barrers were weakening due to the Devil's grasp of hate and anger, the two things that weakened light the most. And the dark mage of the Shadowkin, very powerful she was, had made a great difference in the battle. Her mighty power could take out many soldiers at once, something had to be done. Paige lept to her feet unfolding her wings. Her glow brighter then ever, as she flew down towards the dark mage. As she got closer, she took out her bow and reached for three arrows. She pulled back on the string of her bow and let her arrows fly. Two out of the three arrows peirced the dark mage's torso. The mage yelled in pain searching for the one that had conflicted pain upon her. Paige dropped her bow and whipped out her knives. Her knives gleamed in the glow that came from her body. The mage, not affected by the light, charged Paige with both swords drawn! Paige leaped into the air, summoning lightning and thunder. The bolt of lighting recushade off Paige's knives and flew towards the mage. (I'll just make up a name)"I Lorca, the great mage of the Shadowkin, cannot be defeated by mere lightning." said Lorca deflecting the lightning away.

Paige charged towards Lorca. Lorca swung her swords, only to barely miss Paige's head! Paige swung around, roundhouse kicking Lorca in the face. Lorca was sent flying away. Paige jumped into the air, lifting her knives into the air. As Paige went down upon Lorca, Lorca lifted one of her swords. Paige grunted, asshe backed away from Lorca. Lorca chuckled getting up. Paige looked down at her chest, to see blood seeping out of her body! "Ha! You are no match for me. Just face it, the dark armies will overcome the light and destroy the seals, releasing our dark lord from his dark void." said Lorca.

Paige stumbled away from Lorca, holding her wound. The blod had stained her white clothing. "I wouldn't say that if I-I were you." replied Paige lifter her hands into the air. A violent rush of wind began to encircle her, as lightning stirred within the wind. Lorca charged towards Paige in an attempt to stop the spell, but it was too late. Paige yelled in agaony of her wound and sent the indand lightning towards Lorca. Lorca shreeked in pain, as the lightning surged through her body. As soon as the lightning sieced, Lorca's body layed motionless. Her skin to a krisp, Paige saw for the firts time, the scared face of a Shadowkin. It was horred without eyes, the mouth permunently sowed shut, and the ears cut off with pieces of metal graphed onto the side of the head. Truely then, Paige felt sorry for the Shadowkin. Her sorry nearly mad her forget of her stab wound. As she was carried away by field metech[sp], she saw the Shadowkin once again, charge into the city!

awwww....... i sent you a pm but the window got shut down, dunno whether you got it. Anyhow, as soon as we finish these Shadowkin, that should be the end of the story.

*agree* maybe you can spell check it in Words.
----

A sheet of fire burst forth from Waterfall City to scorch the Shadowkin.

"You should take a rest," Lorgain said. There was no longer any enemies around them, but both of them were exhausted, especially Patryn, who had to control the power of the fire seal, even though the seal was not physically with her.

"I've got to help as much as I can." her eyes wondered to where the mysterious Shadowkin had fallen. Lorgain kept silent.
----

Once Lorca was out of the way, a path was opened up for them by the Hyrule army and some men. Taren and Clise followed behind Oden with Freezia between them.

"Look who's here!" Taren said in enormous relief.

Aridol appeared right behind a column of the Hyrules, right behind him was Roen. "Here," Clise said. She and Taren handed Freezia to Aridol, who supported her with an arm and began to fall back towards the city. With the head of the Shadowkin defeated, the remaining Shadowkin was in disarray.

As the six seall barrers fell back, Oden scanned the battle field for the seventh. Oden sighted Patyrn fighting a small group of Shadowkin. Oden immediatly leeped into the air flying towards her.

Patyrn faught bravely, swiftly killing Shadowkin after Shadowkin. Then, she was apprached by one of the seal barrers. Oden glowing light burned the kin of the surrounding Shadowkin making them flee. "Patyrn, you must come with me. We are going to do one final attack on the Shadowkin that will finish all of them once and for all." said Oden touching down beside Patyrn.

Patyrn just nodded and followed Oden, who also didn't know him. But she trusted him, any seal barrer is pure[sp] in heart. Soon, the last two seal barrers caught up with the others. The seven seal barrers made for the main tower, where they'd present the true might of the seals of power.

Freezia could not move. Catatonic, she hung on the brink of losing her spirit and becoming a shell. The balence between life and despair was slowly sliding towards darkness. The devil's grip on her heart was great, and fiercer now that he perceived that he would be vanquished, that good would be victorious and that his power would be diminished.

Standing still as stone, she would move if someone would take her hand and lead her, but her eyes were blank and the pupils had swollowed the iris. Every now and then, she would sigh deeply or blink, tears flowing freely down her face, but no other sign of life did she show. Already Aridol had done his best to loose the Devil's grip on her, but to no avail. Taren and Clise, also, had failed. Rone had tried, and with all together, the most they could accomplish was to increase the anguish of her soul. Her lips would move in a soundless plea until they understood their attempts were tightening the crushing pain on her heart.

She could not force herself to think, feel or understand. Each word hurt her ears, and the cacophony of battle deafened her. The colors ran before her eyes and the ground blurred underneath her feet. The tears were falling like rain and she was stumbling as they led her. Satan's message was clear -- if he left her, it would kill her. If he kept on much longer, he would kill her.

The seal barrers strength relentklessly dimmed. Their once bright glows were now basically like candle fire. Oden stood in front of Freezia. He couldn't believe the time she had picked to become so helpless. Anger began to grow in his heart. Now was not the time. Taron noticed the angery look on Oden. Something had to be done.

Been reading "Dune" by frank Herbert, he does that alot, I made my own up...glad you like.

"Where do ideas come from?  From man or from God?"  coments from the priesthood

The seals, what has changed, are the seals the sum total of the power they posses or they merely a vessel to contain that power?  The priest lay in his cell thoughts running through his head over and over.  He had heard nothing from the two captains he had sent out and prayed long that at least one had escaped.  His head aching from the paradox he got up and decided to consult the librarian, if anyone could solve this riddle it would be his old friend.
