Atheism isn't a belief. It is a lack of belief.
Atheism is a lack of belief in god/s. That's it.It depends on what perspective you take. From God's perspective and His Word, they do not believe and this is true. But that does not mean atheists do not have beliefs about the creation of the universe, and morals, and what happens after man dies, etc. This is why their unbelief in God and the Bible can also be categorized as a belief, too.

Exodus 20:16I'm saying they don't have enough data to draw the conclusions they are drawing. They are detecting a need for more funding and what better way to get that funding than to announce a new "discovery" .

What about reported alien encounters where the people are healed?
There are members on CF hear just to fault find items like what you said, and to then give you insight into how things really are like.

I don't believe there is any credibility to such claims

Really amazing, those things revolving around stars. Too bad we don't know how big they are, could be like tennis balls. I can just see Steven Hawking's face, or others if they ever got out there, thinking they were changing planets!
I heard that he was developing it right now, and it would be ready soon, and he's finding "targets" the ones closest and with the most potential to be "earth like" to send them to when it's ready... They can go 1/4 the speed of light...Are there any plans to send unmanned probes to these kind of planets when they are being discovered to know "for sure"
I heard Stephen Hawking had something like this in mind, that would take approximately 20 years to find out for sure, a thousand postage stamp size probes that could find out for us for sure...
God Bless!
We know how "big" or small they are, their orbits, and possibly their density, but can not know much beyond what that can tell us, (what's on them or what their surfaces are like) without sending an actual probe there...Really amazing, those things revolving around stars. To be "Earth like" it has to be a planet that has got to be able to support life in some way.
So there should be no celebrations by atheists as a result of this find whereby they can claim Christians are all wrong now.

Try your argument from a scientific perspective...Good thing that is not what I am ultimately preaching. Jesus Christ is who I preach. If they come to know Him, the Spirit will guide them into all truth if they are open to it.
So we both agree in a Young Earth. That is good.
Yes, people do not see things in God's Word for a reason. I believe this reason is primarily something to do with sin or a wrong belief of the world that they are unwilling to let go.
