No. because each day has a qualifier of "the evening and the morning were the nth day". This signifies a period of daylight and a period of night time, which is a 24 hour period. This qualifier is used only once outside of Genesis 1. It is done on purpose to clearly shows that each day had a period of evening and morning In Genesis Chapter 1 the word "Yom" is only used in two different ways. It is only ever used as the light hours when the sun is shining or of a 24 hour period (one rotation of the earth). There is no other way how the word "Yom" is used in Chapter 1. Quite simply you have place external meanings into the word to justify non-biblical means into the word.God knew exactly how long was each of His Days/Ages. They were as long as necessary to complete a period of work. That is WHY God used the Hebrew word for Day, yom, which can be ANY period of time, 12 or 24 hours, a lifetime or even Eternity, since the 7th Day is Eternity. It has NO end. Amen?
