I listened to that on my phone last night while laying in bed. Good stuff but a little unsettling that I did not handle any of my suffering with the stoic mindset due to my screwed up neurology.

I just hope God is smarter than that...

That's not what I heard him say at all. Matt Chandler is not and has never been one of those preachers who teaches prosperity Gospel or "if you only have enough faith". Are you referring to his statements of walking in faithful obedience?

I heard that God is more than able to work through us in spite of our human frailties and that when God gives a mission he will empower us to do it even if that mission is just what others would consider "ordinary" . Maybe you are referring to his comments on Moses? You have to remember though that Moses was giving God excuses on why he couldn't do what God told him to and God put him back in his place by pointing out that he (God) made us. God pointed Moses to look up and see who he (God) is/was, not who Moses was. God was going to use Moses, work through Moses, etc. The mission God gave Moses could have never been performed in Moses' own talents and abilities but with God, it was more than possible.

Exodus 3:11-12

I think that's a pretty powerful verse. God knows all of our weaknesses because He made us that way to make is strong in Him:
Exodus 4:10-12
I also have a physical weakness that makes me unable to run, but if God told me to run, I will certainly do so.

@Travelers.Soul said also explained it very well. I do hope you understand.

This one made me think. I have trouble with getting this mentality of "earning my way" to something I can never get on my own. Reminds me to keep myself humble because of what Jesus did on the cross for us.

Yes I am. The Bible says to endure suffering with patience but it's near impossible to do so when you're an autistic person prone to meltdowns because your brain deals with information and stress differently. People have punished me constantly for things that modern medical books could explain and I'm afraid of God doing the same to me.



God made me in a way that it created the reason for eugenics to exist. It's hard to feel like you're made in God's image when the world demonizes you for lacking what everyone else takes for granted.

What those people did to you was wrong.
God made you, don't you think he knows your problems, your struggles, your frustrations? God does not punish his children, Christ took the punishment for our sins. Sorry, I'm sick so I don't know if I will make sense. God made you and he loves you Wayholka. God is not waiting just to zap you. I would encourage you to go and read Romans 8 and think about what that chapter says about the love of God for you, his child.

I'm not afraid he'll send me to Hell or anything, I'm just afraid on the judgement day that he'll humiliate me in front of Heaven by showing everyone how such a bad Christian I am and consider me the least in the Kingdom.

The Bible promises Heavenly compensation for suffering on the condition that it's done patiently. I'm afraid I am exempt from this compensation because of my erratic reactions to harm.

I'm sorry to hear that you think God will humiliate you. I don't think or believe that he will. God made you, he knows your weaknesses and limitations. God is a God of mercy and compassion.

Who else had a white throne? King Solomon.
Who was King Solomon? He was very much a type of Christ and an anecdote is recorded to show his prudence and wisdom in judgement.

Your judgement will be beyond fair; and I think all of us will be humiliated in that day that we didn't do more. Luke 17:7-10 indicates our heart will still be one of wistful regret even after punctilious obedience to Christ's commands.

Rubbing one's difficulties in their face isn't how our Lord operates; he did, after all, put on frail flesh so we could ascend with him incorruptible. He loves us so much, I cannot even begin to describe it.
