  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I wasn't really serious about dividing the country down the middle, it's just that liberals have held the upper hand in this nation since the 60's and there seems to be no end to the harm that they are doing to this nation.

Yeah, boy. The nation went to pot right after they passed the Civil Rights Act.

Not.

I remember the 50s. That was a time when 15% of the population was subject to legal extortion, rape, and murder by the other 85%. That was a time no more righteous than today, but I'd rather live in the US today than any time in its history, without a doubt.

Your dream, I'm sure, but a nightmare for many.

The nation did go to pot if you want to get literal about it.

There's no doubt that the banks would be the modern day money changers. Corporate cronyism has run amuck in this country.

Uh....no. It's not the fact they were changing money that upset Christ. It's WHERE they were changing money that upset Him.

And also the fact that the religious order was in cahoots with them and enabling them. It was not the moneychangers who made the temple a den of theives, it was the priests who were the stewards of the temple who made it what it had become.

To explain that further: I have a house with a living room. If I invite people into my living room and freely allow them to gamble and bet, it's not they who made my living room into a casino, it's I who made my living room into a casino.

Your zeal is commendable.

The testimony of Jesus Christ is indeed the spirit of prophecy.

Though we are not of this world, we are in this world and are to pray for authority above us, regardless of whether we understand politics.

thankyou ..but ..it is only commendable when it is not pompous -which i am guilty of often enough lol :sorry:

Hey, does anyone else ever dream about dividing this nation into two parts with liberals on the East half and Conservatives on the West half?

Are you nuts! It would have to be a division of North and South! The south east is very conservative. It is the farther north you go that is more liberal on the east coast.

If I was serious about doing this then YES it must be East and West (or West and East) in order for us to have ocean front for protection! In addition the liberals would probably run like heck away from us crazy conservatives. :) Don't take it so seriously. What I'm really saying is I wish there was some way for conservatives to start a new nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all! The location doesn't really matter, it's just the idea of getting away from God hating, liberal thinkers.
