Hey, does anyone else ever dream about dividing this nation into two parts with liberals on the East half and Conservatives on the West half? We would keep the border open but start with all conservatives in control on the West and Liberals in control on the East. We would have to divide the military assets into two parts. We would create a new nation founded on the same principles as the United States was founded but update it to give it more power and acceptance. We would make abortion and same sex marriage illegal. We would write amendments to the Constitution to protect the rights of Christians (and others). We would generally do everything else the opposite of what the liberals do and see what happens. I believe the West half would prosper while the East half would fall into oblivion. Eventually, we can re-capture the East half and give it back to God as as gift from those who love Him. Yeah, I know, it's just a dream but one that stirs my soul!!!!

Sure but I don't think it can be so easily divided~lot of hardcores of both stripes in east & west and I don't think the nation is 50/50 anyhow. We already have a divided America though, and it's by design. The people really in control of things (and no it's not Obama) count on division amongst people for them to maintain the reins of power; they really don't care which side your on, as long as you have a side.

Better idea is for states to gain back more freedoms and draw libertarians/conservatives toward them....that's why there is an exodus from states like Cali towards states like TN or TX..even here I'll hear of folks from NJ and MD moving to PA because of freedom issues...and PA isn't even in the top 10.

that's why i wait for the full revelation of the Kingdom of GOD ,for the lord Jesus will come with a SHOUT and he will over throw ALL the kingdoms of this world .. sorry USA that includes yours .

I wasn't really serious about dividing the country down the middle, it's just that liberals have held the upper hand in this nation since the 60's and there seems to be no end to the harm that they are doing to this nation. 50 millions babies killed, a budget out of control, homosexuals getting special privileges, Christians being discriminated against, and the list goes on. I'm simply saying that this is no longer the country that God gave us and yet it could be if conservatives and Christian leaders regain a foothold. And yes, of course I understand that ultimately it is due to sin and that ultimately God will restore the heavens and the earth to their former glory. Praise be to God. Praise be to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

We need to realize that we can learn so much from one another. I think that we need to realize that some liberal Christians do a better job at witnessing and caring for the poor than us. I am not saying we lose our convictions, but we must be Christ to everyone we meet: rich or poor, atheistic liberal or questioning moderate. Christ came to heal the sick.

I heard something funny on the radio this morning. If the country was so split down the middle after voting and could not resolve who actually won, a man came up with an idea. Split the country in two and tell all the Democrats to move to either side of their choice and Republicans would take the other side. We would construct a wall in the middle separating this split nation. Rupublicans would uphold the constitution with Romney in charge, while keeping morals, work ethics, live, build and prosper. The Democrats would have Obama in charge and do what they wanted with the Constitution, expland government, impliment socialism and whatever they wanted to live and function and prosper.
How long would it take before the Democrats would try to dig a tunnel under our wall to get over to our side? Probably a few months, since there would be little tax money taken from the lack of rich people and corps no longer on their side to pay for an inevitable collapsed welfare/ Obamacare state filled with people in lines waiting for a hand out ... no prosperity ... increased crime ... What do we do now? ... Get on the other side of that wall.
But of course we would be guarding the wall with a strong military and shooting anyone who tried to cross over. What a concept! Just a little humor, please don't get upset.

I have a lot of hope for America.

That the Lord can still do tremendous things for this country through His word.

Beyond what I expect or anticipate.

The word of God is so powerful! It's always surprising me.

If we have anybody reading the Bible, and getting together with others for bible study (hundreds and hundreds, almost like the sands of the sea) I have tremendous hope! As I said that, rain is pouring hard on my roof.

it is true - he is returning and he will overthrow ALL the kingdoms of the world ..including america .
there are probably more REAL practicing believers in china then in the usa .. God is not interested in the politics of this earth .. the Lord Jesus is returning to over throw them all .. not just the non Americans. i was not cursing any one . it is the spirit of prophecy when a person speaks with conviction of the return of the Lord Jesus.

I don’t have my Greek resources available right now but I am pretty sure the moneychangers of John 2:14, uses different Greek than the bankers of Mat 25:27. However, both are condemned. The former were condemned for defiling the house of God, that latter as thieves. Surely todays international banksters are in violation of God's laws.

The testimony of Jesus Christ is indeed the spirit of prophecy.

Though we are not of this world, we are in this world and are to pray for authority above us, regardless of whether we understand politics.

I think it would be easier to have a North and South divide instead of an East and West. But I wouldn't support it because we are stronger as a whole.
