Most of the illegals worked and contributed to SS. The legally earned the money. They illegally crossed the border.
They legally earned them money? Ah, I see. I always thought using a social security number that isn't yours to obtain a job was illegal.

Guess not.

Do all illegal immigrants that hold jobs in the US have stolen social security numbers?

Providing service to an employer and receiving pay for that service would constitute legally earning money. Stealing money is illegal.

Yes, stealing social security numbers is illegal. I suspect that falsifying a job application (SS#) is also criminal , yet they still held a job, paid taxes and receive a salary.

There have been many Americans that have falsified applications; and using doctors who made up degrees as an example, I guarantee you that their social security contributions were no reduced, or stolen due their crime.

They have to or else they are paying 0 direct dollars in to the federal treasury.

Taking in more taxpayer dollars than you put back in is stealing and there is no excuse for it if you are here illegally. Sure, it is not as direct as robbing a bank, but the effect is still the same. They are taking dollars from every single one of us.

Apples and oranges situation.

Yep, we sure do! We have the money to prosecute them, easily funded from the money they will quit stealing once they leave this country. Chances are most will escape back to their own country before they get caught, so most that do get caught will probably be gang members such as those in MS-13. But anyway the premise is that Illegals “deserve” something, but if we give them what they really deserve… it certainly wont be payouts and amnesty.

How are they breaking the 10 commandments by living here without documents?
Do you think Jesus would fault these people for wanting a better life for their children? Furthermore, do you have the money to prosecute all of these people or send them back? Because I sure as heck don't have $41 billion a year.
And yes, as I covered, they are breaking a portion of the 10 commandments (at least 4 of them) coming here and doing this. It’s not even a matter of picking and choosing which ones they will ignore and break today it‘s the way they live here daily as a result, and I’m not going to be responsible for encouraging them to come here and break those commandments. Maybe some posters here feel comfortable with that, with encouraging people to break the 10 commandments and trying to rationalize it, but I don’t.

No, but that is irrelevant. Do you know how social security works? If an illegal has a social security number, it's either stolen or borrowed, both of which are illegal. The only way to collect on social security is if you have that social security number. It doesn't really matter if all illegal immigrants have stolen social security numbers or not, because this bill is dealing with giving benefits to those illegals that have stolen SS#.

Point?

This is a completely different situation. You are trying to ignore the fact (or you just don't understand how SS works) that your SS# is directly tied to receiving the benefits of SS. If you steal a SS#, then you shouldn't receive the benefits that come with it.
