we have had quite a few people cross large bodies of water to study there....

Moore Theological College - sounds promising. I'll be sure and add it to my list of possibilities.
OK - so I'm not the one looking, but at least I'm not snubbing you any longer![]()

Hey Dave,Behe's Boy said:Jon -
I'm just happy to hear that you are going to seminary! You belong behind the pulpit brother (take that as confirmation - not flattery).
Okay - head over to the Desiring God ministries web sight (John Pipers sight) and he has a pretty comprehensive list of good seminaries that he has endorsed - many in the U.S. too.
Jon_ said:Hey Dave,
Thanks so much for your encouragement, brother. I really, sincerely appreciate it. I certainly do take that as a confirmation, especially coming from a godly man like you.
Thanks for the resources from Piper. I checked out his list and found pretty much all of the schools that I had been considered, so it helps to know I'm on the right track. I think Gordon-Conwell, Covenant, and RTS are appealing the most to me at this point. Doubtless, that could change in the future, but it does help to have a rough idea of where I want to go. It will allow me to structure my undergrad program around their admissions criteria.
Hey, by the way, Happy Birthday!![]()

Your personal testimony on this point played no small part in that consideration.ClementofRome said:I don't think that you would go wrong with any of those three. As a GCTS grad, I would obviously plug that institution. It was an incredible learning experience for me. Scott Hafemann is back as Prof of NT. Reformed Baptist he is, and a great scholar. GCTS is going to be more broad education than either RTS or Covenant as it is multidenominational. Jerram Barrs at the Schaeffer Institute at Covenant is a friend and a scholar as well....I almost went to Covenant, but decided at the last minute to head to GCTS and it was the right decision for me. I am least familiar with RTS, but do know many men who have been through there and they are all solid.
Blessings!
