Anybody see this movie with Johnny Depp? I plan on seeing this movie today. I enjoy movies that deal with psychology and how we deal with our inner thoughts. Johhn Depp is an eccentric and I'm sure he will do this role justice.

I went to view this film last night. Wow, not what I expected at all. Great film, multiple plot twist throughout the entire movie. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor pulling out ever role that he ever takes on.

i caught a sneak preview of this a week or two ago and while i'm not usually a fan of Stephen King book->movies this had Johnny Depp in it so i checked it out. it had it's good points but overall wasn't all that spectacular. reckon i shouldn't divulge to much on the why's w/o a spoiler button though? basically it was predictable when thrillers shouldn't be. (and this is the second film from this director that screams out another movie, the first being Stir of Echoes to Sixth Sense but perhaps that criticism is too tenuous...)

anywho, if you like Depp and have a free afternoon hit it on matinee, otherwise wait for dvd or catch something else is my opinion

I thought it was really good. I love Johnny Depp though. I think he is a good actor. Everything I have seen him in, he really seems to embrace the character. He's good looking too! I have never seen anyone else make a bathrobe look so good!

I saw it Friday. Amazinggggggg twists in the plot. Alfred Hitchcock would be proud The movie was like a modern day Hitchcock flick. Ended JUST like the black and white movies I used to see growing up. They should have shot that film in black and white. That would have been perfect.

a good movie, but i bet the book is MUCH better. Johnny Depp is an INCREDIBLE actor and i give him 2 thumbs up. The movie was ok, they coulda done more and it seemed really short!

Yeah, I thought it was short too. I looked for the book at my library, and all that is available is the audio cassette.

The movie was one word: EXCELLENT! He should get an oscar for that role! it was amazing! His acting is always great but that movie was simply amazing.... I was surprised by the ending but it was still amazing acting!

I thought there were a lot of little funny parts in it too. Like when he was laying on the floor vibrating his throat talking to his dog. lol I just loved all the little eccentric things he did.

It was awesome... there was alot of excelent camera shots... I was impressed.
However the book was much better... but movies rarely do a book justice.

I enjoyed the movie more than I expected to, King lost me as a fan back in the late 80s so I was pretty skeptical about seeing any other film adaptations of his work. Depp is the primary reason I went ahead and saw the movie; his acting ability and the quirky character he brought to life made the movie highly entertaining and worth my time and $8.00 to see.

Me too. I am not really a fan of King, but I figured if Johnny was in it, it would be good. I didn't think it was really all that scary, but there were some suspenseful (sp?) parts. Johnny has the ability to bring any character to life. Did anyone stay until all the credits rolled through? I heard that he sings a couple lines of a song. I want to go again to hear it.

Three cheers for Johnny Depp!!! Every time I see another of his movies, I notice what an incredible actor he is. He brings to life every character he plays. I can't wait until SW comes out on DVD.
