• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

*ahem* :preach: soccer is essentially the most wide-known watched/played sport in the whole entire world. It's intense, it's fun, and why else wouldn't anybody like to watch somebody kick a ball around for 90 minutes on a field trying to get it into one net or another? *le sigh* such a beautiful sport! lol!

But hey... as for advice. Just marry a gal who will watch it with you or let you have your boys night out watching it. I think guys, even married guys need to have a boy's night of watching sports together or whatever, every once in a while. Fortunately, not all women are controlling! woo! :D

Would you consider yourself the controller if you were married?

ermm... no... I don't believe in either one "controlling" the other... that's not right. Controlling a person has such negative connotations to me... A marriage is give and take.

Besides :p I like soccer...

bah.. lets leave the submission debates for a more appropriate thread, this one should be about soccer ^_^

Acutally this thread is more of arguing "Why desire marriage and relationship when there is much fun and freedom in singledom?"

Soccer was used to justify the arguement

One of the most important thing in a man's life is his sport.

I have never been a big sports fan. I don't watch the games on TV and rarely go to watch live events. That probably can be traced back to my high school days when all the jocks at my school were borderline domestic terrorists spurred on by a bipolar coach with control issues.
