For one thing, the protections that have been extended to sexual orientation and gender identity already existed for religions. Second, the way the law actually works is that you cannot face employment discrimination. That means that somebody cannot fire you or refuse to fire you just because of your membership in a protected class. This guy is acting like being transgender is a carte blanche to to say that companies can't enforce any rules on you. It's ridiculous.

I understood it to be directed towards online censorship. It’s far fetched I can see that but so is 90% of everything else culturally or so it seems (to me at least) Basically his point is that let’s say YouTube kicks a conservative off just for his political ideals (this does happen) he can now sue for gender discrimination.

No he can't. Enforcing rules that apply to everybody isn't discrimination. Anti-discrimination laws only come into play when you are denied employment or service BECAUSE you belong to a certain protected class. If you violate the terms of service and YouTube then bans you because of that, you can't claim you are being discriminated against.

Unless those terms of service are specifically set up to hinder or stop a particular political ideology. The tea party dealt with this issue regarding a higher than normal percentage of audits coming from the IRS. I have seen multiple conservative online accounts suspended just for what they are saying (clean respectful accounts) while leftist accounts can spew hate and make death threats but are allowed to remain.

In USA the "liberal left" want universal healthcare, they want equality for all, the want congressional oversight to be a thing, they want an AG, FBI, CIA, tax department who has allegiance to the Constitution rather than the president.
The "liberal left" haven't been campaining for an overhaul. Trump and his supporters want a dramatic overhaul though.

The average guy in the street wants to be left alone to enjoy his life the best he can. It's the PC brigade, and the professional, "take offence at everything" mob who are trying to steal our freedoms. In Australia, we had the vegans invading restaurants and hassling diners. We have the climate change mob trying to get us to live in caves and ride our pushbikes to get there. We have the BLM mob, ignoring their self-inflicted social disasters, blaming whites who weren't even born when their supposed evils were being perpetrated. Add in anti-vaxxers, "refugee" advocates (we can't even find jobs for the people born here let alone illegal immigrants), and whatever the latest craze might be, and some of us are wondering what kind of society our kids will inherit. In order to be acceptable, you will have to be a black transexual greeny who has never had a job in its life. Pass.

As for universal healthcare, the Christian opposition to it is two fold. First, it requires theft on the part of the state both in the form of taxation and in taking power for itself that God does not command the state to have. Second, when government controls healthcare they control who lives and dies. Every country with socialist healthcare attempts to control costs by punishing people they deem unhealthy and by cutting off services to the old and infirm or worse promote doctor assisted suicide.

Um, as Christians shouldn't we want to remove the current world order and institute the Kingdom of God? The Bible says nothing about preserving things the way they are, and actually says quite the opposite.

The parable of the workers in the vineyard, besides being an illustration of heaven, also serves as a defense if freedom of contract. Jesus does not attack the wealthy landowner, he defends the contract that he and the workers agreed to.
