  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have no idea how the war took place.

We just see some of the results of it.

Such as craters, dust, and whatnot.

How can you assume the results without knowing how it happened?

Translation: You were there?

Not at all -- I don't have to be present at D-Day to know that a lot of soldiers were shot, because I know how that battle was fought.

You know absolutely nothing about this particular angelic conflict, so how can you assume that it resulted in cratering and dust?

I believe the universe was created pristine and without "floaties;" but is now occupied by dust and debris due to a cosmic battle that took place some 6000 years ago between good and bad angels.

The asteroid belt is no exception.

Sorry, that doesn't square with the existance of the Kirkwood gaps in the asteroid belt. The gaps are caused by asteroids finding themselves in an orbit that brings them back to the same position vis a vis Jupiter annual cycle after annual cycle . . . (asteroid annual, not earth annual) and gradually getting pulled away as a result.

Only because the forces involved are so small it takes several million years, minimum, to create the gaps.

The gaps are there.

Therefore the asteroids have been around several million years minimum.

What is the starting point of that gap?

Are you assuming the gap wasn't there at one time?

Well, to say the gaps were created in situ would not be consistent with your idea that the asteroids are part of the rubble left over from the conflict of the angels.

The gaps have actually had since the beginning of the solar system 4+ billion years ago to form. Actually, the planets all formed from such rubble, and the asteroids are leftovers from the time of planet formation.

Another famous bit of rubble pieces would be the rings of Saturn. Either they were created like that or they settled into that shape from a more chaotic situation. Clearly settling into that ring shape would take a lot of time, and yet they are also bits of rubble that qualify for your blanket assertion they have to be the left overs from the great war of the angels.

Which way do you vote for the rings of Saturn?
