i've been recovered for a while, but i'm tempted to diet again, out of frustration with my overall appearance. in my acting classes we do a lot of camera work, and i hate how i look onscreen. i think that's what's triggering it...but i DO NOT want to relapse. i know i am recovered, and i want to keep it that way. what do you guys think about all this? im confused myself...

What do you mean by recovered? Have you been in treatment? Are you in therapy at this time? You may need to speak with a therapist to work on body image work. A lot of people do not like how they look on camera. But, if you are already thin and are tempted to diet because of the sight of your body on camera, you may need help with your distorted body image.

That's tough, and I will be praying for you. I wish that I could give you the perfect solution to your situation, but I can't. I would give it some serious time, thought, and prayer. If you DO decide to try and diet, I would recommend that you do it under a lot of supervision, and with support, in a very healthy way.

Let God show you the right decision.

going out on a limb here if your acting classes are triggering you, do not take them, and yes i know you love them and want to, but right now what is more important? pray and see what The Big man has to say.

thanks you guys. no i never went to therapy or anything, it was mostly my youth pastor and some of my friends busting me and praying for me and working with me to feel better about myself, which pretty much helped a LOT.
i'm not sure what to do, but thank you guys for the prayer and support! i'll def be praying...
