"Good" people do not get saved in the first place. They do not see their need. There is none that does good, according to God's word. The self righteous are not justified. Those who ask for mercy, God answers with mercy.

Christ is a unifying force for all believers, but He also causes hatred between family members who don't believe in Him.
Christians are the most hated people in the world, at least 50 million have been murdered by unbelievers. Christ promised that all believers would be persecuted or killed, so we can't expect unity and peace with unbelievers.

"All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."" Romans 3:12, referencing Psalm 53:3. Psalm 14:3 says much the same thing. There are other similar declarations. Isaiah 53:6, for example.
