Before you read this remember im not being offensive to christianity, I just want to share thoughts, Thanks.



Hello im new here but I joined because I wanted to discuss my thoughts with other People. I am Athiest yet im Satanic. If you dont understand this let me explain.



Us satanists believe in Satan as a symbol of independence, free thought, self preservation and being the best you can. I say im Athiest because I dont believe in a god since I dont believe in the trinity nor do I believe Satan is an existing form of flesh or entity. We do not sacrafice animals, we believe they are creations that should be preserved.



We dont believe in Heaven or Hell. We believe once you die you are dead. There is no way to stop death, because death has won. This will probably strike alot of controversy but its our belief.



By believing death has won we are motivated to live our lives to the fullest. Anton Szandor LaVey explains in the Satanic bible alot of good points. If you are interested in what we think you should pick up a copy, its not that expensive.



Now about evil .

Why nature is evil, not neutral



Goodness is based upon and reliant upon darkness

Life is based on death

In nature, death is unavoidable and the inevitable victor

Nature is violent and uncaring, the universe is cold and destructive

Altruism is long term selfishness









There are a bunch of types of Satanism, I am the one which believes in life. Not the person who wears black make up and skins goats.





There are thousands of other theories and philosophy I have only mentioned a few. Please give me your thoughts and defend your god.

Well i want to live a life pleasing to God, and part of that is believing Jesus died for my sins.

How do you know he really died for your sins? How do you know the bible is the truth?
How do you know there is a God? You have faith, right?

But why not do something useful instead of dedicating your life to something that may not even exist.

Christianity does interest me lol. I can be a Christain and still do stuff that interests me, do you mean like getting a good job and helping people?

Because satan is my symbol of opposing christ. Christianity is more fiction than truth. Until they can prove it I wouldnt believe in it. Kinda like this saying/parable I wrote.

Now you tell me why you cant live your own life without believing that your going to go to heaven. What better motivation in life is there than knowing you only get one shot?

Not everything has to be proven to be believable. Thats where faith comes in. Lets say i want to give you a ride home or whatever in a car, but i cant prove that we wont get in an accident, does that mean you would not take the ride. To some extent you are putting your faith in me to get you home safe.

Yes, but an accident IS physically possible. Going to an unearthly place with no proof of actually existing, ISNT physically possible. You see, people have been in accidents before, but there is no proof that someone has been to heaven before.

No one can prove what happens after death. So to me it is very irrelevant and unimportant. Only a fool does good out of fear of punishment/desire for reward.

Ok that may have not been the best analogy but the point is it all comes down to faith. You wont find absolute proof for christianity, but that should not automatically stop you from believing in it.

Although I do have a faith, I can see where your coming from. Judiaism, Christianity and Islam all have a book which tells you how you have to live if you want to go to heaven. Although it can be argued that they are just minor setbacks, to some they are not.

I should know because some of the restrictions placed on people by Christianity seem silly and rediculous to me. Having to keep asking for forgiveness instead of just being the best person you can be seems odd to me too. It seems that the only thing that actually is used to keep people good with Christianity is the fear of god's wrath, living under constant fear just doesnt seem right to me.

People think praying for forgiveness automatically excludes there sins. You have to deal with what you've done. Doesnt the bible sound like something someone wrote ? Kind of like giving you an idea of how to live your life. Some of the concepts are ok , You shouldnt be extremely greedy or have WAY to much pride. But when the bible talks about other stuff, it just doesnt make any sense whatsoever. You would have to be unhuman to meet gods expectations.

Satanism is more logical than christianity. I think if people wouldnt stereotype satanism and actually took some time to read into it they might consider it. People think satanism is pure evil, the darkness in everything. Another reason people dont consider satanism is because of everyone else, it takes alot of guts to stand out and say you are athiest and a satanist, to wear a baphomet around your neck.

God is showing you how to live your life in the bible. God expects you to follow his commandments but also knows we are not perfect and need Him in all things. If anything thing in the bible does not make sence just ask.

The ten commandments are pretty much impossible to follow. So if someone wrote them they would expect it. I know we arent perfect, maybe he should have written more EARTHLY commandments?
