Admitting that your sources turned out not to be reliable or that you drew a conclusion that was a mistake is not to tell a lie or make stuff up. :sigh: I sincerely hope that when this episode in American history is over, that we will all go back to using the word lie to mean what it is supposed to mean.

She acknowledged that her comments were not founded on anything. That's a fabrication. A lie.

That's how the report (and the usually inaccurate Politico) characterized it. She doesn't agree.

If the report can't even be trusted to represent the investigation, why even read it? When Trump said Mueller was great, then the report was great. Now we're reading it, and anything that looks bad must be a lie, or wrong? Sanders lies all the time for that job. Sometimes you can see her struggling with it. Just at a technical level. It's difficult to lie so much. Why is it so shocking that she admitted it when under oath, and now has to deny it to keep her job?

Well, "countless" does not add up to "not founded on anything," does it?.

The words posted by the Op versus what she said to Hannity in respects to them. She said "a number of" with him but seem to indicate that the word "countless" was not founded on anything.

Countless not founded on anything. No, she did not say that either.

But even if she had, look a what was alleged in the earlier posts in this thread, some of it even being words put into her mouth...and then compare that with what you have just said Sanders admitted to.

I do not find anywhere that she acknowledged that her comments were not founded on anything.
The report itself says so, in those words. If you are not going to at least entertain the possibility that the report is based on reality, why on earth are you discussing the report?

The word countless emphasized in the OP is what I am pointing out (and the word countless as she mentions on Hannity) as a slip of the tongue in respects to the word itself and the last sentence in the OP regarding her "comments" versus her use of a wrongly used word not being founded on anything when she was speaking to the press (having used that word, versus "a number of")

did she? I see the quotation marks you used, but I do not find any place where she said those words.

From the Mueller report. There is an image in the OP, last line:

So the Mueller report is a bad source now?

Sarah Sanders' 'slip of the tongue' moment in the Mueller report

“She also recalled that her statement in a separate press interview that rank-and-file FBI agents had lost confidence in Comey was a comment she made ‘in the heat of the moment’ that was not founded on anything.”

This passage appears on pg. 72 of the report.

gfx-sanders-1024x242.jpg

At a May 11, 2017 press briefing — the “separate press interview” mentioned in the report — Sanders was asked about her recent comments that Comey had lost the confidence of the rank-and-file members of the FBI. At the time, then-acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe countered Sanders’ claims, saying that Comey “enjoyed broad support” within the agency. That’s when she cited “countless members of the FBI.”
