Yea means most of the time can cause death. See above to gunshot reference..

Also working in an OR I have seen many with fatal injuries live..while other's with the same injury die. Heart attack, strokes, stabbings, gunshots, trauma, etc. can all be fatal, but are always not..

It may not be a physical wound but perhaps political.

Consider that Saddam is no longer a threat in any sense of the word. He's lost it all, his sons, his politcal power, and military might. There is no reference to him dying as the words in Revelation say.."as if" or likened to, given appearance of death. Its important to understand the difference in these two small words.

Nah, because the Jews will never accept him (won't be deceived by him). Saddam does not fit the profile of the AC one bit. Also the AC is a nobody at this point, but Satan will help to make him the focus of this world at the drop of a hat. Also, Saddam's days are numbered with 13 loops and one big tight loop at the end, unlike the wound that the AC will receive though both deadly (to death). Lastly, the time line is incorrect, th AC does not die and resurrect until further into his reign and Saddam has had no such reign at this point beyond being a mad dictator of an insignificant country.

John seems to say it looks like the beast's head had a healed deadly wound..In other word's, he didn't see the actual wound, nor did he see it happen, only that it looked like he had one, and it already was healed..

Not to convincing for a ressurection of the AC. Maybe by some trick (because the devil does not have the power to bring back the dead) it could look like it. But I stick to my stance that a mortal/deadly wound does not mean someone will die..

The problem with that view is that Saddam isn't being sentenced under Islamic law, but under Iraqi state law.

Guess we'll find out the truth within 30 days; read the news link that just popped up on Yahoo: Court: Saddam's hanging to be carried out 'within 30 days'

Don't you think thats stretching it a bit though? Ronald Wilson Reagan added up to 666, and you didn't even have to change the spelling, but i don't really think he is going to be the anti-christ do you? But who knows?
