I just wanted to know what arguments and reasons there are for your continuation of the Sabbath? I'm not here to argue, only learn, and I hope anyone not agreeing with this view of the sabbath just respect this and not cause confrontations
"Searching," my only argument for continuing to keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a day of remembrance of creation is that it is found listed among the ten commandments. And since I do not believe that the ten commandments have been done away with, and that we are still expected to keep them through God's power, then that means the fourth commandment also should be kept through God's enabling power. If God tells us not to steal, we refrain from stealing, through His enabling power. And if God asks us to remember the seventh day as a reminder of creation, we should also abide by this request, through God's enabling power. This is how I see it, anyway.
It doesn't compute, to me, to say that nine out of the ten commandments are good and should be observed, but one commandment no longer applies. That is inconsistent. Break one, you break all.
Some have gotten around the fourth commandment by saying that none of the commandments should be or can be kept. But nobody will actually come right out and say that the other nine commandments should not be kept.
Those who accept Jesus into their lives follow the invitation, "If you love me, keep my commandments," and I believe the commandments to which He refers are the ten commandments.
So that is why I continue to be a Sabbath keeper. Because I love God and I want to keep His commandments, not just nine of them, but all ten.
If you have further questions about aspects of Sabbathkeeping that I have not covered, please feel free to ask again. I'll throw in my two-cents worth
