CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Who cares? You don't. Until you make a stand that the Sabbath is mandatory to salvation I can pretty much ignore any argument you make here as to keeping it because I can be saved without it and consider it a useless trivial venture and a lot of wasted time.

So also Paul in Eph 6:1-2.
A Bible "detail" so obvious - that the majority of the Christian scholarship on planet Earth - admits to it - even the pro-Sunday groups listed in the signature line below.

I think it is interesting that Mark here says that Jesus himself said that Moses give them the Law from God.... which means Jesus denies he gave Israel the Law himself

Matt 22 God says that
"Love God with all your heart" Deut 6:5
"Love your neighbor as yourself" Lev 19:18
Are the foundation of all the Word of God - including the LAW of God - "The Law and the prophets" -- ensuring that it will never be washed away.

If one love their neighbor then they are essentially doing ALL the Law requires of them. which means that the commandment REPLACES the Law entirely.
