Oops, I forgot that being wrong is always an exciting scientific discovery.

Not always but very often this is accurate. It can, at times, be very exciting. Being shown wrong is not necessary a flaw but often a chance to learn new things.

For myself, I love to be shown wrong as it usually give me a new direction from which to to explore and learn.

Sorry, but God's Word makes it very clear that comets are ice frozen from the waters of The Flood. It doesn't matter what so-called scientists claim about this comet they claim to have landed on. Show me the comet, and I will believe you. Don't show me so-called photos (everyone knows how to use Photoshop nowadays). Otherwise, I will believe God.
