for sure, PETA does (and I'm not talking about the logical PETA---people eating tasty animals)
Hey, I got an idea. Let's discuss theology instead.
What would we do without those breaks?we do, and we will, we just take small fellowship breaks now and again
twas Elisha. Also, Paul's handkerchiefs healed people. heck, even Peter's shadow healed people.
LOL yes I did...and I have a bunch of deer in my freezer
God has a place for all critters......right next to the mashed taters.
You need to find that passage for us, bro. What would we do without those breaks?
Ok... last topic I saw was relics...
With that said...
Somewhere in the OT it reads that a deceased man was thrown into the tomb of one of the prophets. I believe Isiah. One of those guys. Anywho, the man's body was thrown into the tomb which had the body of a prophet lying in it. The man's body and the prophet's body came into contact, and the man was brought back to life.
Are relics now somehow useless? Discuss...
Thanks jack!2 Kings 13:21
And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
The soul was no longer with the body, thus the body was "dead" and thus they are relics.Thanks.
Well, it looks like Elisha's bone served a purpose, altho inadvertantly, and while they were still fresh & in a grave.
I'm not sure that would make them relics.
Of course relics "serve a purpose", beings as they exist to.
Unless of course the electric cuts off.Yeah you're gonna have to do better than that. There's no biblical support for lighting candles and praying to pics of dead people.
We actually used to have an old oil lamp. It may be at my parents place.
Personally, I use battery powered lanterns and flashlights for less of a fire hazard.
