Last year I had a blast watching Rock Star INXS and although I missed the very first show, I pegged J.D. Fortune to win it by episode two.
The show seems a bit more polished this go around which always happens, but here are my favourite picks so far.
Storm Large did Pinball Wizard and totally rocked in my opinion. Great stage presence, great voice, she brought originality to a classic; not easy to do.
Patrice Pike did Somebody To Love and I really enjoyed her quirkyness. She seemed to be having a blast and was totally comfortable on stage. Loved it.
Josh ??? did Talks To Angels and although I didn't like the deliberate shakiness of his voice at first (my husband said he sounded like Pee Wee Herman) I loved what he did with the rest of the song and I actually got goosebumps.
Dilana. Wow, my hubby just pegged this one. Before she even came up he said "Watch this- she's gonna steal the show." And then she proceeded to do exactly that. My only criticism? She got a little silly at the end of the song. Amazing stage presence.
Lukas the poor Canadian boy. I enjoyed his rendition of Billy Idol's Rebel Yell but I'd sure like to see if he can do stuff that's not as hard. I'd like to see more range from his voice. The dark horse.
So, anybody else?
