Oh Mandalorian, if you don't know what happenns, you're in for a HUGE shock in episode 18. I used to watch Robotech as a little kid, in the mid 80s. I remember that episode more then any other. You know why if you know what happens.

Man, I LOVE Macorss Plus. Sharron Apple! I've downloaded all of the Macross Zero episodes that I could find so far. I get a kick out of the Japanese pronunciation of Fokker. FAH-KER! Makes me laugh everytime.


I didn't know that Do You Remember Love was called Clash of the Bionoids in the US. Is it given a Robotech slant, or is it still pure Macross?


Shyguyelite, it sounds like you like Robotech as much as me! Macross to be specific! I can't express how facinated I am with the Macross story, it's so cool!

Just so you know, I think very highly of DBZ. I just LOVE the Trunks Saga. History of Trunks! They even use Dream Theater in the movie. AWESOME! IT'S BONZO GONZO! Sorry, a little over board. Android 17 and 18 are KILLER.

I don't know. Apparently they are making a new series, but they've been saying that for awile now. Fortunately, all of the episodes have been re-mastered on DVD. They are all available at Robotech.com(or from 'other' sources online).

Mmmm..... Episode 18 was good. I like it when that sort of thing happens even though he was a really cool character. I alwase do those sort of things in my fan fics. But episodes 17 and 15 were huge let downs, 15 was just a sumury of all the other eposodes and 17 was a whole bunch of stuff that already happened but all mixed up and with different lines, but all the same art. It's that kind of slacking that degrades a great thing. But I liked all the other episodes.

I especially liked that duel in ep 18, and Miria is such a cool character.

I want a custom avatar so I can put my Robotech one on. All the available ones suck.

Robotech has a new version out on DVD now called Robotech Remastered with perviously cut scenes and better quality video (though I think only the first box/volume of it is out). The original version of Robotech is also available on DVD in an older version with more extras and poor video quality. The older version can be found in boxed sets and I heard that it's cheap. I'm not sure how cheap the new one is.

Ahhhh! Why?! The TV series yes, but what about Macross Plus or Zero? Well, I guess they're perfectly suitable for someone of any age. They're just so cool that I don't think they should be labelled as "for less matured audience".

Just don't steal Breetai from me! I use that one sometimes. Judging by your nickname in the top-right, it'd say find a sweet Roy one. Robotech.com might have some. How many blessing do you need to use a custom avatar? Hopefully you have enough now.

To be honest I'm not a fan of Breetai, he seems boring to me. Kyron's a much cooler villan.

Well anyway I'm now up to episode 24 now. I must say 19-24 has been my favorite serese so far. I think Miria's such a cool character. And the Zentraedi spys are prety funny.

The only complaint I have about the serese is that in almost every battle it seems they loose more than half their veritechs but in the next battle they alwase have a full force. I'm trying to write a story about it but it's too hard to twist it to make it realistic.

That's because Breetai isn't really a villan I do know what you mean though. Khyron is crazy.

Technically, it isn't Robotech. Since Macross is only one third of Robotech. Robotech is made up of three entirely different Japanese animes. The first third is Macross and is the best of the three IMO.

Macorss Zero is a prequel to Macross and isn't finished yet(they just released episode 3 out of I think 5). The other series are Macross Plus(amazing IMO), Macross 7(I've never seen), Super Dimension Fortress Macross the Movie: Do You Remember Love?(seen, it's an OK summery of the original series) and SDF Macross Flashback 2012(I've never seen). If there's any more, then I either haven't heard of them or I've forgotten. There is also Robotech II, which was never finished.

I have the vhs of "Robotech II". As you said, never completed, it starts with the departure of the SDF-3 (or is it 4?) and ends with the Invid invasion of Tirol...i think.

Then it includes some cut scenes from the Robotech series.
