RISK ... is it extinct??

Does anybody know where the game risk can be bought these days ... I havent been able to find it anywhere .. mind you I do live in australia so that might make it a bit hard...

I dont mean the PC version of it .. I mean the board game version..

I had the most wonderful Mac version of Risk when I was in college. Every computer Risk I've seen since then has been lame by comparison.

RISK is so not extinct. If we're talking about the same one that is. the board game right? They jsut came out with a LOTR version so now they made the old one again.

You can probably order it online from a Walmart or another US store and have it shipped to the land down under. I have no idea how much that would cost though...

My brother and his friends and I play that when we get together. So bad, that one friend took pics of the last game (board and pieces and $$, the works) that we had to leave off before it was ended...3 years ago. Maybe this Christmas it will end. Oh my...

RISK is a very cool game. And I found somewhere to buy it and I am gettin it for Christmas (thanks to my wonderful wife)... Yeah!!

Well, now, I wouldn't say that. I mean I do have paid accounts for Everquest, Asheron's Call, Anarchy Online, City of Heroes, Dark Age of Camelot, Earth & Beyond (now defunct) and soon to have World of Warcraft. Of course I don't play them at the same time and alternate which is active at any given time. (Really only play CoH and DAoC anymore)

But, hey, I'm not gonna turn my nose up at a free game. There's tons of them out there for Linux.

Asheron's Call and City of Heros are the ones I've heard the most good things about from friends. I haven't gotten into the mmog thing anyway, at least not yet. Speaking of free games on *nix, me.. I'm hooked on angband and variants. Have you tried A Tale in the Desert? I'm curious if that one is any good.
