that's correct- only God knows the heart of man/woman before he/she passes away- where Richard Pryor is presently can remain a mystery.... however, based upon what the Bible tells us, we know what it takes to have eternal life with God, and we also know what one may lack to have eternal separation from God as well.

As far as judging myself, I know for 100% pure fact that I am going to Heaven. God is not a God of confusion...however Satan is. Nothing would please Satan more for a Christian to doubt/question if they will be with God for eternity. According to my faith in Jesus Christ and what he has told us directly from His Word, there's no questioning what one must do to receive eternal life.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

I think this is the first time the death of a celebrity has actually touched me. I love comedy and without Pryor the comics of today would be restrained, polite, moderate, and politically correct and I probably wouldn't listen to them.
