The dragon, identified at Revelation 12:9 as Satan the Devil, gives the beast its authority and power. (Revelation 13:1, 2) This beast’s seven heads (bearing ten horns) distinguish it from the one-headed beasts of Daniel’s vision. Seven (and ten) are commonly acknowledged as Biblical symbols of completeness. This is corroborated by the extent of this beast’s domain, for it exercises authority, not over one nation or a group of nations, but “over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.” (Revelation 13:7, 8; compare 16:13, 14.) Noting these factors, The Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible comments: “The first of these beasts [of Revelation 13] combines in itself the joint characteristics of the four beasts of Daniel’s vision . . . Accordingly, this first beast represents the combined forces of all political rule opposed to God in the world.”-Edited by G. Buttrick, 1962, Vol. 1, p. 369.
The second beast came out of Satan’s already established earthly system of thing-not like the first beast that came out of “the sea,” which is fitting symbol from which human governments arise.-Isaiah 17:12, 13.
The second beast is also political, came out of the “seventh head” of the first beast and is also given power by Satan. This second east was original the League of Nation and then the United Nations.
Daniel 7's 4 beasts total to 7 heads, 10 horns (with the 4th being the country with 10 horns). The 7 headed dragon with 10 horns is the historical form of 7 beast kingdoms through time, with the beast from the
sea 7 heads, 10 horns, 10 crowns (of Rev 13) being the last "incarnation" of this Satan. These 7 headed, 10 horned dragons are
only comprised of nation state enemies of "Israel".
The beast from the
earth is
ONLY apostate "Israel".
There are 7 kings and then an 8th king. And each has a false prophet, an apostate leading a rebellion to worship the dragon, the 7 headed 10 horned entity. The prostitute of Rev 17 is the false prophet of the 8th king of the 7 headed 10 horned Satan.
5 And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations.” 6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.[a]
When I saw her, I marveled greatly. 7 But the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction.
And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.
9 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; 10 they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. 11 As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
15 And the angel[c] said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, 17 for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.”
The woman sits on 7 heads that are existing at the same time. Plus, there is 7 heads through the passage of time: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. Then the 7th and 8th. These are nation state enemies of "Israel". This is the "sea".
False prophets are only apostates and are symbolized by a woman/ church. This is the "earth."
