I have a few other comments from him which I perceived as being a bit sarcastic. So maybe when I see his name - my perception is negative.
To me the Sabbath was created for man as scripture says and man should dedicate the Sabbath to God - as best as they possibly can.
Unlike what you think - I am always open to listen. I've already spoken to someone concerning mr. Ryan. And as I said to them I felt he was being sarcastic and other replies he made and because of that I am probably negative towards him when I see his name. I am also honest.I think it was a misunderstanding. I've been looking for what I got in the email where you said it's a shame I wasn't open to hearing what other people have to say - that is your interpretation. I am open do anything new - I've already heard and studied what has been said on this entire thread.To let you know I did not get my own personal study of the scriptures from anyone. I did not read of it in any book. I did not find it anywhere except from a prayerful detailed study of God's Word asking Jesus to be my guide and teacher. You should also perhaps consider that the Hebrew and Greek language is not the same as the English and has different word meanings applied to it. Anyhow if you are not interested. I will not share it with you. Of course you are free to believe as you wish. That was never in question and is between you and God.

I say the same about you. And now you say think I know it all - when I have said several times in my conversations with other people none of us know as an absolute what the mark of the beast is. List other beliefs such as tattooing which in the seventies Christians thought the barcode was the mark of the beast which is a form of tattooing and some still do. No I don't think I know it all ma'am I just state what I believe and I believe what I state _ and unlike some I'm not trying to convince anyone I'm right and they're wrong. And it would have been simpler just to say well this is the meaning of the word mark mean in Greek. And from my understanding it still means basically the same thing.

Rev 13 is the first chapter in the Bible to introduce "the mark of the beast" and "worshipping the beast and his image".
Summary:
When we look at Rev 13 and Rev 14 we see is that in the future we have this --
1. the 1260 years dark ages of Rev 12 (also mentioned in chapter 13)
2. The two beasts of Rev 13
3. A point where signs and wonders are being done and all the world is "bought in"
4. A law regarding worship - where violation of it means the total loss of ability to buy or sell - not merely "on Sunday".
5. The law strengthened to the point of death penalty for violation of it.

Obviously in terms of "worship" to the beast "and his image" - we see the issue of sin - condemned in the Ten Commandments - worship of someone who is not God Himself, a form of false worship no doubt.
Making an image to the beast in some way - and then worshipping it.
Another obvious detail is that something tangible is made/available so that without it - you cannot buy or sell.

I am saying whatever one sees stated - actually in Rev 13 and 14 (or related chapter 12 etc) is fine. But I want to stick as close as possible to the level of "the obvious" details in these chapters that inform the reader.
