The managers on the project I'm working on are brilliant as well as fun people. I'm learning a lot working with them. I'm blessed ...

... except right now. I'm supposed to be writing these scripts, but my lead had me put them aside until we have this meeting ... which now has been postponed to this afternoon. I don't have anything to do now except eat lunch and play. Did I mention that I love my job?

No, I don't mind ... I'm a '.NET Solutions Developer' ... that's a Microsoft word for a .NET programmer. However, I'm doing quality assurance work right now.

HA! ... no, not that interesting. They are test scripts. I'm a consultant working on a large web application for the State of Colorado. We create scenarios based on the application design and write 'scripts' that take a user through the application testing application features ad nauseum.

I just got my script designs shredded and now I'm rewriting them.

From the way you were talking, I thought you were an actor or a screenwriter...or something else along movie industry lines. Cool job.

I tend to be blunt sometimes. (well...actually, I have trouble not being blunt.) Thanks for not minding my lack of social graces. (I've always been a bit of a dork...and I think this retro outfit is bringing it out even more than usual. )
