I had this question in a study I am doing: meditate on the idea of resting on God alone. How can you put this into practice?
My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken. Psalm 62:1-2
I feel like the Lord is teaching me this, but it is hard to put it into words...as to just how it is happening. What I see is His Word is having more and more authority over all the other voices in my life and this world. I am finding much more emotional stability. I'm not as impulsive as I used to be...I find my will choosing Him more and more.
Any other thoughts on this one out there brethren?
