Let's imagine that the GOP had some evidence....

What should they do with it? Hand it over to Garland and the DOJ? Maybe Wray and the FBI?

The process is they investigate and present report, and if there are crimes they make referrals to DOJ. The same way the J6th committee worked.
That's the way the last GOP Senate investigation of the Biden family worked, but their evidence led to the conclusion it just looked bad.
The fact they have had more press conferences to make inferences then actual hearings is kind of telling.
But so far, to use your word, it appears to be a lot of imagination.
