CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

good news too is that some new reppers are stopping into the Twins thread. I so wanted 3-9 stars to start showing up & playing together.
I'm getting excited about that. Plus it relieves me so I can go do free reppies around the boards too to help them get going.
It's just really hard to get threads going - it's alot of work to try to get people interested & get new groups in. I'm going to do what Beloved mentioned & do a link in my Sig I think. (not sure how to link in there but I'll learn ).

LOL What can I say. That's how I am in real life.
Hubby, dauhghter and myself all seem to have the same sense of humor. A lot of times nobody gets it and just gives us the look 
all the while we're laughing our heads off.

I'm excited about it too.
Seems to be really moving along. I've gotten more reps from there lately than on the open board. Got some challenging situations that come along but over all it's going pretty good. Maybe just add the link to each of your posts. Have it ready to copy and paste from a notepad so you don't have to keep typing it out. Just a thought.
