Hi everyone  I just finished reading the thread. Seems like there was more activity on this thread than has been on the Rep threads in a while.

I only have one account. It would be too confusing for me to have multiple accounts. I still think of trading reps as a fun little game. I do have two trading partners and I try really hard to rep everyone back, especially those with lower rep counts. I remember when my rep count was really low and how I felt back then.

I also don't usually get into the buying or selling of reps. That is for the high ended players. I have no problem with anyone selling or buying reps. If the deal makes the trading fun, then enjoy the dealing.

There have been days that I don't get all my reps used, not because of site problems, just because life came first. It didn't bother me, and I don't think anyone was upset because I returned the rep a day later.

I don't see a problem with the rep limit being raised. I don't know of anyone who has been hurt nor do I think that repping is addictive. Playing Tetris on the computer for hours is more addictive for me than handing out 40 reps a day (and I only treat myself to that torture maybe once a week).

Just my two cents worth. Hugs.

What I'd REALLY like is for them to do is get rid of the stupid 24 hr. rep schedule thing. :swoon:
That's become a serious burden and pain in the heiny.

UGH!!! Same here!!!!!

I think it would be great if Reps automatically recycled at a set time every night and then you could use them through out the day...

I hope TPTB do impliment that...

As to the rest, I just don't get it... it's not a hassle or a stressor for me... I play for fun and I try to do it with a good attitude... I have never *given* a rep expecting one in return and am always thankful for the reps I receive... even now when they don't *count* as I am maxed out... I do not consider myself obligated to rep anyone who reps me other than *deals* I have made... I do try to rep those who rep me, but there have been days when I receive over 100 reps and I only have 40 to give  not in line with reality... I don't stress over it... I just keep on reppin'...

As to fellowship... I started playing the *rep* game before the Rep Forum existed so I did not visit here much and still don't spend a lot of time here... I prefer the fellowship in the BE section... but it has been slow all over CF since the 7/7/7 changes and even more so with the software transition :sigh:

I hope it recovers and someone in leadership chooses to lead...

Ty

Excellent points throughout this post, Ty!

I can't speak for others, but I'm feeling it. I traded my way to where I am now, I never had the help others are getting. I'm tired.

I left all my trading partners with each other more than a week ago. I was too tired to go on, it was time to walk away.

Today I'm back to trading--but only to help someone get out of here. So for a while I will help that person, and then maybe walk out of CF forever. I haven't decided yet. I'm still talking to some of the moderators, I'm still hoping for a resolution of an issue we have all been affected by, the return of Pastor Steve.

 I don't know anything about trading partners (maybe because I was gone for a couple months), but I'm sorry you and others have been hurt. I'm sorry that people treat especially the high-rep-holders in such an inconsiderate manner. I'm glad I'm back because my spirits were majorly lifted today in this forum by a couple people, but it sure appears that its a different place than back in April when I was here. :(

Don't you go anywhere. Stay and speak up. I love many here and this is hard to say but I agree with you on many of your points. Not to take sides but rather to state the truth from my heart.

Reputation is not as it was intended to be. Everyone just simply opens accounts and reps themselves. It is just a game and perhaps it should be noted that way. Much different than the pre 7/7/7 Cf.

Stay Dear you are correct in many of your observations and there is nothing wrong with your view point.

God bless you...

 I'm doing well, praise God! I've missed it here. I was kinda bogged down in real life stuff right about the time of the forum changeover. I found it overwhelming to figure out and just didn't have it in me to figure it all out, plus I didn't want to be a downer on the forum when I was all depressed. Then the next time I tried to come back, I found out that RepDaddy had been banned. So I got sad all over again. I realize though just how much I miss the people I used to chat with here, the fun and sweet rep comments, the hugs !

I do remember with embarrassment my first weeks here....staying up all night to rep and get repped (and with the whole rep reloading schedule, it would get later and later before reps would come in), then being wiped out and non-productive at work and with kids the next day. So I do know how people could get a little too carried away with it all. I think it can be fun and even helpful, as long as people keep things in the proper perspective. I've met people here that I would not have otherwise met and I consider myself more the blessed for it. But the whole "rep thing", its definitely a game, even as I do hope to reach 100 sometime soon. I really do hope that you'll stay around. I've been blessed in the past by your posts and would love for that to continue! May you be blessed whatever you decide to do though!!!

Talmidah, it's people like you who keep me here.

All of us have been sick over how Rep Daddy was treated. You're not alone.

 K- just keep in mind that nobody has said you fit into a mold of how we see things, or know of people who have been hurt, got too addicted to all this or whatever.

We've been sure to say that we know it's gone on and it has caused troubles but not that everybody has gone thru the negative stuff. =)
These are things that have been observed and they're very real for certain people, so don't worry about what we type as if we're lumping you in.
You said earlier that you mainly have lots of sox... so I woudn't figure you experience what we have or what other people we know have. (or are on the rep boards to do it).

I would never make my statements about everybody here becuz I don't know everybody or their situations. =)
So no worries - have fun repping. =) & I still think it is fun, just that it's changed so much for different reasons.

And I can't agree more, I wish they'de dump this 24 hr. cycle - it's the hindenburgh (or is that Led Zeppelin)? lol

That is correct. You do use these things in a generous and fun way. So did I until I got information that some do not. We do not all react the same and some have addictions to many things. I would no sooner bring a brother to a bar that was alcoholic than I would bring someone to the rep forum who has these counting and numbers addictions. That is all I am saying about that as I have been asked to be quiet about this by some who are disturbed.

The case had to be presented and I and others have done that. Will it matter? It is not for me to say. In a perfect world none of this would be worth a moment of our time to discuss but perfection is only in heaven not here. I am praying for all involved and wishing you all the best. My duties as a primary care giver at this time to not afford me time to do what I want anymore such as get into long debates so I must unsubscribe at this time and concentrate on what I joined for in the first place which is to pray and worship Jesus. All the best to you.

God bless you all...
