...it seems Rep Rogers of Alabama finally had enough of Gaetz....and had to be restrained (frankly, I'm suprised it took 14 rounds to reach this moment...kudos to the AP photographer)

GOP Rep Gives CNN The Dirt On How Gaetz and Rogers Almost Had Fist Fight on House Floor

One of the Republicans at the center of the kerfuffle, Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett, spoke to reporters in the wee hours Saturday

BURCHETT: Well, you’re correct. It was, it was very late. You realize that both sides have some older members and it was getting late. And I suspect most of them had missed the early bird special at the Sizzler, so they were getting a little cantankerous.
...
“People shouldn’t be drinking, especially when you’re a redneck, on the House floor,” Burchett said

The Constitution doesn’t require a two party system.
So?

We don't have a 2 party system. The US has had many parties over the years. Many have affected elections, including presidential elections.

Personally, I think that our system of 2 major parties works better than systems with 3, 4 or more parties.

AN ASIDE ON THE DEMOCRATIC SQUAD
The squad was very loyal to Pelosi on many key votes. AOC led the way.

In a sense, you might compare AOC to Greene (who supported McCarthy). AOC openly asked her cohorts to vote with Pelosi.

The 21 member Rebel Caucus is very different in kind from the extreme conservatives and the extreme liberals. The vast majority of both parties want the government to succeed, for the federal government to work.

To be blunt, being strongly pro-Trump, pro-Freedom Caucus, and an election denier does NOT make one a rebel who promises to "burn the House down".
