Pray that the truth of the gospel would penetrate hearts and lives and liberate North Korea from indoctrination and lies.

Pray for radio engineers responsible for keeping daily gospel broadcasts into North Korea on the air. Pray that many would tune in and respond to the gospel.

16 January 2025 – North Korea​

Pray for South Korean missionaries who are imprisoned in North Korea for their gospel work. Prisons and labour camps are brutal environments where inmates can be starved, overworked and tortured.

15 January 2025 – North Korea​

Pray that the church in North Korea would persevere and multiply, despite the horrific persecution. Anyone discovered to be a Christian or to have expressed any interest in Christ or the Bible is considered an enemy of the state.

14 January 2025 – Afghanistan​

Pray for ‘Javed’ and his family, along with other Afghan Christian refugees, settling into their new life in Brazil, as they adapt to cultural differences, learn a new language and seek suitable work.

13 January 2025 – Afghanistan​

Thank God for Release International partners in Brazil who welcome Afghan Christians who have been forced to flee. Praise the Lord for the willingness of churches in Brazil to embrace these refugees.

Pray for Afghan Christians who have had to flee their homeland because of the threat of severe persecution. Pray that wherever they are, they would be encouraged to continue growing in their faith.
