CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ah, my girls had hoped to get a swim in tonight, but it's sooo buggy that they backed out. The water's not very warm yet here anyway.

No summer job then?
My daughter is trying to talk us into letting her work at a convenience store this summer. (Just part time) We tell her to relax and enjoy her summers now - soon enough she'll have to work every summer.

If so, will you have any special summer activities with them?

No summer job at the momment. I thought about looking into one but I may be having surgeory within a month or two so it didn't seem like a good idea.
Yeah, I belong to a youthgroup I don't know about any plans though...it's very well unorganized.

Oh, I'm sorry to read about your youthgroup.
My girls belong to a very active group. Jess will be away working at a camp all summer, but youth group friends and activities should keep Joanna pretty busy.

That's a nice sized family.
I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I liked growing up with siblings and we're still close now. I always thought I'd have a good sized family, but that's not how it worked out. Joanna is close to her cousins though.

Very hot. I only did half the gardening and yard work I'd planned to do because it was just too unpleasant working out in the sun.
I'm hoping it will be a little bit cooler tomorrow.
Hi Breezy.
I guess it's time for me to log off and brush my teeth... the 11:00 news is half over now, so I expect my husband will stop pretending that he's watching it and drag himself to bed any time now.
He brushed his teeth an hour or so ago but decided it was too early to go to bed. He's been dozing in front of the TV ever since.
