CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

families are so important. My housemate Carolyn adopted her great nephew, he had a lot of problems, sometimes it seems like too much to handle, she is a great mom! I tell her all the time how wonderful she is!

I'm adopted, so she didn't have to go through labor and delivery, but my mom looks pretty worn out in the photos they have of my first week!

You probably wore your Mama out. This is Cynde's 7th so she knows the drill! lol

Yes, my mom says she was pretty nervous the first couple of weeks.
Actually, I think that a lot of her tiredness/stress at first came from waiting until my birth mother signed the paperwork and made things official.
And my mom was probably a bit older than Cynde is, too.
She's an awesome Mom though, she didn't need to be nervous about any of it!

Adoption can be a challenging process so I can imagine your Mom being nervous.
Cynde turned 33 last month.
Your Mom sounds like a wonderful lady. You are so blessed that she picked you.
