I believe with all my heart that you will come to salvation and that you can havwe a great God ordained relationship with her but you must be willing. I am praying for you and for her. That is one of many things you and i have in common. It is a pervasive human trait since the Fall. One of the reasons for Jesus' incarnation was to demonstrate through His life, death, and resurrection the opposite trait of selflessness and to enable us, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to change and do likewise.

personally i have never been in a relationship and will not be at the moment. at this day in age this world is so corrupted and its hard in life to find the right women or man.

why rush or what a relationship based upon your needs rather than waiting on god to provide you with a mate?

a non-christian is just like a puppy. i hate to say it but this statement is true. a non christian will bring in the flees from the world and you as a christian believer will just accept her for who she is. it's fine to accept her for who she is but also it will help for that person to have a direct relationship with god. without a relationship with god then what use is she with you?

flesh? love of her based on flesh?

try to talk to her about god and see where your talk and conversation goes from there.

personally i wouldn't want you to take my opinion to serious but my question to you is: does your spirit feel connected with this person? do you feel convicted letting this person into your life?

change your style, that's the only way those flees will get off of you. better yet i will not call them flees but those demonic traits need to be burned off you. you need to make the non-christian believers think you stand out in a different way.

i work at the hospital and im to myself when it comes to girls. i know they are my weakness and many come to me asking to come out to the bars and take a drink. some think i have a cocky attitude. its not a cocky attitude more like a crazy happy attitude for my father jesus christ. after saying that to a few of them. there decision was to back off and to stay away. that's what the word of god does. it fights off those demonic spirits.

about the drinking at the bars. are you crazy? i go back to my teenage years and i ask my father which is god himself if i can get a drink you know his response? NO! why because i'm feeding myself to the world and that's what satan wants me to do! i will not give in to this world and that's what you should do.

ask god to take what's not of him out of you right now in the name of jesus! you can and its something called putting god first before you make a decision. it has worked for me throughout my life and i'm sure you can do the same. be strong, do not let satan have victory over you.

you can do it owens. you have this community and god and your friends backing you. prayer is the key to relieving the stress on worldly girls. trust me they are not worth your time. they are there to hold you back and to get you no where in life.

if you want a girl. wait on god. he has the right girl planned out for you. just wait and be patient. there is no reason to rush a relationship.

are mind is the biggest sin in this world. you will know if its the girl from god because you will not even know why your talking to this particular girl.

try god's way, because obviously your not getting anywhere doing your way.

oh you know what disregard my previous post. i didn't really look into detail on what you were meaning. i thought you had a hard relationship and you had trouble with her as non believer. but since you are the non believer i will have to reword my previous posts.

since she is the christian believer and your the non believer. she is the one that opened her arms to you. which i hope was the right reason spiritually as she saw that you are lost and you need help getting on the path of righteousness.

i wouldn't say you are messing her life up but your certainly helping her reach to you to help you have a better or strong relationship with christ.

one thing since i see you are atheist i'm not pressuring you and i'm sure she isn't either. but i would suggest you go to church with her and go up for prayer when the pastor asks does anyone need prayer. i suggest you at that time ask jesus for forgiveness of your sins and to start a new clean chapter in your life because its never to late to accept jesus. he is there opening his arms as we speak and he is just waiting for you to accept him.

as peter said to the men in the book of Acts 2: 38 "then peter said to them, 'repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit."

and jesus was put in the same situation as you but he said it rigorously to satan and you should do the same as jesus put an example to us in the book of matthew 4: 10-11 "10 then jesus said to him, 'away with you, satan! for it is written, you shall worship the lord your god, and him only you shall serve.'" 11 "then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him."

take those verses to heart my soon to be brother in christ. i pray your girlfriend ministers to you as some in this thread has to you.

now everything is in your hands whether you choose to go the path of christ or to go the lost path. your decision...

It's not against God's will as long as the unbeliever doesn't compromise the faith of the believer.

Yes, 2 Corinthians 6:14 is a commandment. However, this does not mean that the believer should cease all communication with the unbeliever. This is merely a warning which is illustrated 1 Kings 11:1-2:
