Relapse...In Need of Help....

How do I explain to people that I relapsed due to raising of Lamictal? Its supposed to STOP the relapses....not cause them... The reason they raised it was because I was having seizures and they thought by raising it they could stop it. Well, they stopped the seizures but threw me back into a vicious Bipolar cycle....and I can't control it...

I need help...all I think about are things that involve pain or suffering....I can't even tell my boyfriend because I'm so ashamed....what do I do? How do I tell him? And my family....they would be so broken... I think I need some major help...and quickly...

Please respond quickly....I am very depressed right now and need help....please....

You need to talk to your doctor about getting off of it. I am praying for you. I am glad you see you are needing help.

Have you considered counseling to help you learn how to better control the bipolar cycles? My therapist has been very good about working with me to recognize symptoms and to deal with them.

Definitely seek help as Dianna already suggested, by talking with your doctor.

Being able to track moods, see if there are triggers behind them really does help. I have been able to see what my big triggers are. It does help.
