Watch it - you are a child - nothing more than that . !
You are not a relative , nor someone in a special relationship with me.
Common courtesy harms no-one
Treat me like that again child, and I promise you you will face the consequences of your apparently condescending behaviour
Which are?
I don't know where you live, but here in the good, old U.S.A. I find it charming when a pleasant waitress calls me "Honey" or "Sweetie" or even (perish the thought) "Dear". In fact, I am of the old school and begin my written correspondence with Dear . . . . . , If BeamishBoy or yourself or anyone else here at CF wishes to address me as Bees, or B's, or anything else, I am not in the least bit offended. As they say, call me anything but late for supper.
As an anecdote from my own life, there is a young family with a three-year-old child living next to my mother, who is a very proper 89 years of age. This child addresses both of us by our first names which initially came as a surprise, but we have grown to love and appreciate him. Neither of us were offended by his forwardness, but were merely startled.
