this was the one I agreed with And it was about heaven coming here It's a view most people forget and not common To hear for me
StephanieSomer said:So, WHY do you keep using the phrase, "go to heaven"?
To be perfectly blunt, your sentences generally are very difficult to understand. Some of them aren't even actual sentences. Please read what you write before you post it to ensure it makes sense.Because it's confusing to your theology Or because you take half of my statement and pick at it ?
Your view is wrong. Emotions have no place in change of mind. There are different Greek words for repentance and regret, but unfortunately some of the translations are sloppy and use "repent" when 'regret' is meant.Read the complete post. It's about the actual meaning of repenting Feeling bad goes with changing ones mind Because God knows your heart So if you don't feel bad you didn't truly repent of the sin or in better words you not going to stop what you don't feel bad about
I've explained clearly just how much accountability there is, but it is clear that you are not interested in anything that doesn't agree with your own view. This is confusing to you because OSAS has no accountability.
Why is there a question mark at the end of this sentence. It doesn't appear to be asking a question.I don't know how sanctification works with OSAS ?
No one has scoffed. Many have offered sound doctrine. And all of it has been ignored.Im still " trying to get an Understanding but their are far to many scoffers to do this in good cheer
One who refuses a gift never had it. But once the gift is received through faith, it cannot be revoked. But it is clear that you are going to reject this truth. You can refuse your gift
What does this have to do with anything?Gods plan is all go to heaven that is a Sunday school teaching
I know how unimpressed with Paul you are, by all your posts. But his answer was solidly Biblical. That's an empty answer
One trusts in the promise associated with Christ. How can some one believe in someone they don't know?
Meaning that your toddler does your typing??Haha lol
Sorry
I'm a mom of a toddler
Typos are part of parenthood
This is quite delusional. When John penned the book of Revelation, that was the last revelation from God. He gave mankind everything He wanted us to know. So to claim that your views were given to you from God is rather arrogant.Il be honest I don't know what to call my beliefs ?
Because this was given to me from God the words I've read my entire life .
Once again we have a non sentence. The words don't make any sense. Could you read it again and try to make it undersandable.I think the theology a idea is its assumed you won't want to but it's still am apparent part of a Christians life justified sin?
The Bible says that the salvation has to be worked, is not something you already have it and you can't be sure about it.Rom 6:23 says that the gift of God is eternal life. Rom 11:29 says that God's gifts are irrevocable.
It is heretical to claim that eternal life can be revoked. The Bible says not!!
Add to that the FACT that there are absolutely no verses that plainly say that salvtion can be lost.
End of argument.
The Bible says that the salvation has to be worked, is not something you already have it and you can't be sure about it.
Philippians 2:12
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 3:12-14
12 I dont mean that I am exactly what God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal. But I continue trying to reach it and make it mine. Thats what Christ Jesus wants me to do. It is the reason he made me his. 13 Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go. But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me. 14 I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine because God has called me through Christ Jesus to life up there in heaven.
2 Corinthians 4:16
16 That is why we never give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.
Hebrews 12:1
We have all these great people around us as examples. Their lives tell us what faith means. So we, too, should run the race that is before us and never quit. We should remove from our lives anything that would slow us down and the sin that so often makes us fall.
Matthew 10:22
22 Everyone will hate you because you follow me. But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved.
Luke 21:19
19 You will save yourselves by continuing strong in your faith through all these things.
John 15:6
6 If you dont stay joined to me, you will be like a branch that has been thrown out and has dried up. All the dead branches like that are gathered up, thrown into the fire and burned.
Acts 14:22
22 In those cities they helped the followers grow stronger in their faith and encouraged them to continue trusting God. They told them, We must suffer many things on our way into Gods kingdom.
Hebrews 3:14
14 We have the honor of sharing in all that Christ has if we continue until the end to have the sure faith we had in the beginning.
As you see, the Bible states clearly that salvation can be lost if you get aways from it's path, and there are a lot of more verses. The early christians, Fathers and saints consideret it that way, there was no need of the Reform to change it. Sorry if I sound rude but I have to deffend the truth about Christ.

Good luck trying to save yourself. Make sure you do everything perfectly and without sin, because God is holy and demands sinless perfection. Thank God I stand before God covered in the perfect righteousness of Christ. That is the only righteousness God will accept.
That view is only because of failing to properly understand Phil 2:12. The concept of salvation has 3 tenses: past, present, and future. We have been saved from the penalty of sin through Christ's death on the cross. We are being saved from the power of sin through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and being filled by Him and walking by His means. We will be saved from the presence of sin in eternity. The Bible says that the salvation has to be worked, is not something you already have it and you can't be sure about it.
Not one of the verses provided says that salvation can be lost. One must read into each verse to get that idea. And that is called eisegesis. And there are no verses that say or even imply loss of salvation. As you see, the Bible states clearly that salvation can be lost if you get aways from it's path, and there are a lot of more verses.
You're not defending truth at all. Loss of salvation is a false doctrine that makes believers think they must work for their salvation. God's plan is to save by grace, through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:8,9.The early christians, Fathers and saints consideret it that way, there was no need of the Reform to change it. Sorry if I sound rude but I have to deffend the truth about Christ.
This is what I said:I don't preach to scoffers
I'm HERE to defend truth.I tell you to go in jesus name
Your only hear to cause disputes and take the cheer I've been giving away
There is no good cheer in any false doctrine, which is what your posts support.Refuting OSAS in Jesus name was is only here in good cheer
That's just using His Name in VAIN. Some would call that swearing. That's why jesus name is up
Amen

No you're not. Your view has been refuted.I'm not promoting false doctrine I'm refuting it
" refuting OSAS in Jesus name "
