Refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19 is a ’sin’ & anti-vaxxers must spend their life repenting

Thank God the Holy Trinity that my religious exemption was approved. I was already making plans to leave for another state if it didn’t.

The hospitals are full right now, more full than I have ever seen them this time of year. Usually late summer is the quietest time and here we have been at capacity.

And it’s NOT Covid positive patients that are driving this volume. It is patients with strokes, heart attacks, cancers, and other serious conditions. Go ask someone who works in an ED what the wait times have been to see a doctor and the length of stays of those boarding in the ED. It’s a national crisis.

The only difference from this year compared to my other many years as a doctor is that there is a high rate of ‘vaccinated’ people in the community. Does correlation mean causation? No, it doesn’t. But it sure can suggest it.

if it comes true what many experts (who are being silenced and censored) are warning about, Biden may have been right for once in his presidency. It is going to be a dark winter. May the Panagia cover us and protect us from what may come, and may God have mercy on us all.

I don’t even go to see doctors at the local clinic any more because everything is covid. Unless things change, I’m pretty much going to live from now on without medical care. I haven’t been to the clinic in close to 2 years now.

Other than the dentist or the pharmacy, I've not been to a doctor since 2004

Of course there are very healthy people who hardly ever need medical care. But that’s not most people. And when you get past your prime, problems begin to multiply as your body ceases working like it used to. Youth takes youth for granted.

I don't even feel like making the effort to answer you gurney, because your response is pretty offensive to me. There's nothing wrong with trying to eat and exercise and live a more healthy lifestyle. That's all I've got to say with regard to your over the top response.

Fauci himself said he takes vitamin D to help his immune system against covid. He said that sometime last year or earlier this year.

Do you know, with certainty, that Ivermectin was never tested using HEK293 fetal cells?

If you knew/know that it was, would your promotion of this drug change?
I only mentioned the use of fetal cells in regard to our Archbishop who is supposedly an expert in bioethics. Other bishops have raised it as an area of concern but it has little to do with my own reservations towards the Covid vaccines. I suspect that there are very few modern drugs which aren't tested on aborted foetal cell lines these days.
Aside: a local media celebrity Phil Valentine advocated this drug. He was taking it when he died from COVID-19 on August 21st.
Unfortunately he did not receive the treatment until the viral infection had already advanced. Ivermectin has proven to be extremely beneficial as a prophylactic, and very helpful if used early in the onset of the disease. Clinical trials have shown little if any benefit when treating advanced cases.

I find your response to the news that India is having huge success with cheap, well established and proven safe medications while the rest of the world using expensive, experimental and sometimes deadly medication is failing to bring the disease under control, very strange to say the least.

"deworming nonsense". Boy, you've really fallen for this ridiculous narrative. Ivermectin is used for both animals and humans, and they aren't the same medicine. For someone who seems to know so much, you sound like you know so little, other than throwing out mainstream media blather, using those words and conspiracy theorists. I guess other experts don't count if they don't line up with what you believe is the right answer to this mess.

I didn't realize he wasn't getting any sleep. In any case, I have enough worries over what will happen with my job and what my governor decides on this stupid vaccine mandate, I just didn't need more piling on. It's been an incredibly stressful week, and I'm moving tomorrow into my apartment. Lots of work in that and all else I'm juggling right now. Speaking in a condescending manner to me and my concerns and how I see what's happening in the world as the spirit of the antichrist at this time, isn't very nice, and I expected more kindness from gurney. Fact is, isolating, scaring, separating, and shutting people away, and taking away their livelihoods IS demonic. Free will, freedom, love of others, caring for others and being with them is a reflection of God. The way things are being forced and dictated isn't.

My wife threw out my LP collection a decade ago when we moved, to my great consternation. I got over it, but... (insert wry grin smilie here)
Well, I did say it was not only youth, though it is true that it is youth that is most likely to be in that state of health that needs no care and dismisses a need for it. Some people are very fortunate in that regard, and it is also possible to take that fortune for granted. In any event, for most people, including myself, it is not at all a good thing that one feels one effectively can't be seen for care of other-than-covid because of the excessive re-orientation of all medical care to deal with it, as if it were the only human ill in existence.

And I would iterate what I hold to be the main thing we ought to keep firmly in our heads - that we ought to recognize that those who disagree with us about the nature of and proper reaction to covid are not crazy or stupid. They believe what they believe because they proceed from experience different from ours, and facts and data that either we don't believe, or think of lesser import. It becomes much easier to be charitable to each other when we realize that.

I was just discussing with my wife that this world has transformed into a big “my expert can beat up your expert” contest.

At around 10:24 of this monologue, he goes into the modern void of religious or philosophical approach to life and so modern man outsources decision making to “experts.”

I suppose it was the way you made that reference that stuck out.

My own archbishop is supposedly an expert in bioethics, yet he took the vaccine despite all of them being tested on foetal cell lines taken from aborted children..
Your comment reads as-if the testing using HEK293 should have made taking the vaccine prohibitive in that case.
I suspect that there are very few modern drugs which aren't tested on aborted foetal cell lines these days.
Unfortunately you are correct.
Unfortunately he did not receive the treatment until the viral infection had already advanced.
Wrong. He was adamant that he was too strong, healthy and naturally immune to COVID (I can dig up actual quotes if necessary) at least in-part because of his use of Ivermectin prior to becoming ill, while still on-the-air every day. According to his brother, that tune changed prior to his death.
You've seemingly tried, and somewhat successfully I may add, to position yourself in this thread as the know-it-all expert on everything vaccine/therapeutic for COVID. Knowing that quite a few in this thread have reservations to the vaccine(s) based on the HEK testing, you failed to mention that both of the drugs you advocate (Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine) were also tested using fetal cell lines taken from aborted children.
I was trying to discern whether that omission was from ignorance or something other.
Your response indicates it's the something other.

I think it's important that you know that Ivermectin has utilized HEK293 cell line testing when being considered as an anti-viral therapeutic. That makes it no different, in this regard, to at least a couple of the available vaccines.

I won't go into the reasons for not seeing a doctor here. It's not the place.
My vinyl collection continues to grow.

Your last paragraph is spot on. I agree.

It’d be awesome if I could skip seeing the doctor. If I did though, I wouldn’t be able to breathe properly, would have seizures all the time, no relief of pain from some tumors (thankfully benign), have no opportunity to treat some more sensitive issues I have….[ETA: Just a reflection - I’m not saying people are saying all young people don’t need doctors or that health problems are inevitable as we age)

I’m on the middle range of age (upper 30s) but many of these happened since I was a pre-teen…I definitely don’t fall into the possibility of no medical help.

<break>

Incidentally, I’m very thankful that my priest and bishop approve of one of my epilepsy medicines considering that there were some third parties who tested it with HEK293. Otherwise, I’d be living my life with uncontrollable severe seizures about 15-20 times a day or more….totally unable to live out a fully functional life. I remember what it was like before the medicine….It was horrible.

I'll take your word for it. The little that I could find suggested he wasn't using it prior, but I know nothing about him and didn't spend much time searching.

I am only passing on what I have learned from people who are authorities on treating the virus and on the vaccines. I am not an authority on anything unless it deals with wiring a house in Australia and New Zealand.
I have no specific knowledge of how they were tested. You could have just asked.
