You insinuated that I was an egomaniac. That was the insult in question here.

And if you really believed that, it would have just made you all the more eager to post an exception to the rule of conscience, to put my ego in its place. Your silence on the issue speaks volumes.

I never called you an egomaniac and I didn't villianize you or make an ad hominem attack. I said if it is an "ego thing" --i.e. instead of an exchange of opinions.
