Thorn woke up on a metal bed with a leather strap tied firmly around his waist, arms, and legs. Over the his left the doctors were getting ready for the operation, with nurses standing by to run the machinery. To his right were the doors with two guards on either side. For some reason they hadn't noticed that he had wakened before he was supposed to and were busy laying out the knifes and other utensils used by the doctors.
If I am going to have any chance to escape I have to do something now... With that thought Thorn started to slowly manipulate his right hand ((i.e dislocation of certain joints)) so that he could it slip under the leather straps. Just as he got the other hand free the nurses notice him moving......................

((OK, now I could keep going, but what do you guys think...should I have it so that he gets out by the skin of his teeth or should I have it so that he gets knocked back out and escapes after the operation...to vote yes dial 1-800-555-0012......... ))

((I think you should let him escape now, because otherwise, the security on him might increase due to his present attempt at escape. But do what you want!!!))

Kelvin was getting tired of carrying Kim so far into the forest. Luckily he found the tree and ascended into the clouds. When he reached the top he dropped her on the sidewalk. He looked at her with romance in his eyes. I really do love this woman. But why? She has only caused me trouble. Stupid emotions. Kelvin's strength returned and he picked her up and took her inside. His mother walked through the hallway.
"I can see why you have interest in her Kelvin."
Then his father added, "I don't, she only causes trouble. I am going back to the lab to finish the serum."
Kim still had not awakened until the evening.
Where am I? This isn't the ward.
"Kim, you need to go to the lab immediately," his mother said. "Follow me." Kim sat up and followed the woman through a strange house. It seemed like it was from the future. "Here you are. Dr. Kelvin is waiting for you." Kelvin?! Kim had a shocked look on her face. She walked in scared out of her mind. She saw a man that she assumed was the Kelvin she was looking for. Unfortunately she didn't realize it was his father. She tried to run out of the lab but was only stopped by Breean Kelvin. Just as she saw him she convulsed on the floor and was having every moment she knew him flashed back before her memory. Breean took some ether from the cabinet to make her conscious again. She sat up and the two men asked her questions.
"I have a feeling you remember me now Kim. I am Breean Kelvin."
"And I am his father."
"We have rescued you from the ward and I am here to give you an operation to get your voice back."
"After that, he will inject this serum into you to make you forget everything about the Toron and about Redtop and you will go live happily ever after on Earth with me, as my wife."
What? How did he know? I dont want to forget Redtop, it is my home!
"On the way home you will learn English, the most popular language on the planet. You will also learn geography and complete grades K-12 in the three years it takes to get to Earth."
"Since the amnesia blow to the head did not work on you, my dear you have a very strong will to remember, the only alternative is to die."
"Here is a pen and paper, feel free to respond."
Kim just sat there in a daze.

 

[Everloving]

Jaden led the way and they landed just outside a group of buildings.

"This is it." he said. "Kim should be here. Just through those doors. You ready??"

She nodded.

"Well, then, let's go." he pulled a key out of his pocket and unlocked the door. They walked into a dark hallway.

"This way." he whispered. "It's not far."

Kim wrote ferociously on the paper, "I don't even know where to begin, but since I am a fugitive i suppose i will have to comply. At least you are being kind enough to not kill me and give me my voice back. What am i to do about my levitation?"

Kelvin quickly read the reply and answered, "You won't be able to use it unless you have a jet pack on.... to your advantage... you will be able to go much more distance because you do it naturally, however the atmosphere on earth is different and you will be drained of energy more quickly. You won't even have to use the jet pack.... people will automatically assume you are using it..."
Grod, his father, added, "Well, most of the time you won't need it. You can use it in the privacy of your home.... but that is it. As soon as you have children they will be quickly studied for the gene mutation to offer two abilities as breean has. Malvo was not blessed with such mutation. Breean is the only one in the entire universe. Well, are you ready for your operation."
Kim nodded.

Grod didn't inform Kim that they were also going to be studying her body. They wanted the information about the ability gene the scientist called the RT-gene. They need it for the humans on earth. They want to breed an army of super humans.

Kim was knocked out and Grod began the procedure.

((don't have internet at home right now otherwise I would have posted on fri or sat...I can't remember which ... I have Thorn get out of the OR but Katlee and Jaden need to find him quick cause...well you'll see why in a moment))

Seeing that the nurses have seen him Thorn quickly grabs a scalpel off the dolly next to the table and throws it into the ankle of the first nurse, causing her to fall and trip the others. In the following confusion he grabs another scalpel and cuts the leather straps. As he jumped off the table he picked up and threw one of the needles at one of the guards at the door, it hit and the guard fell. Hoping that it contained nothing more than an antiseptic(( or whatever that stuff is that knocks you out)) Thorn rushed out of the room and headed towards where he thought he equipment room was. Before he could get more than 3 yards the doctors and guards burst from the room and started the chase. Somewhere in the distance a siren started to wail and was soon joined by the wailing of the sirens of all the buildings. He felt something slam into his shoulder as he turned the first corner and felt his muscles there start to relax almost immediately. He realized then that could not get away and that if he kept running one way or another he would become a brainwashed "citizen" of Malvo's empire. This realization made a something break in him and he turned to face the ones who wanted to do this to him and the others simply because they were all different((that would be the doctors of bluefloor or whatever country were in now...if you don't remember the town were you were shot for using an ability)). As the first one rounded the corner Thorn threw the scalpel in his hand and hit the doctor square in the forehead, "If you want me you'll have to drag me down to Jade Gates first." With that shout he jumped forward at the others that had come around the corner. After taking out the first man Thorn's world was narrowed to just surviving. Bob left, jab right, jump back and kick high center, another doctor went down clutching his face, punch low to the left...left side won't respond, pain...massive pain...darkness...so dark...........

Kaylee and Jaden heard a crazy commotion coming from down the hall and watched as a group of guards ran ahead of them, not even noticing them.

"Kim!!" Kaylee shouted, running in that direction, followed quickly by Jaden. He grabbed her when a saw that it was Thorn in the mosh pit of guards.

"Kaylee, grab hold of me!!"

she did, and they walked through the crow, litterally. Using his powers, Jaden got to the middle untouched, then grabbed Thorn.

"Kaylee, get us out of here!!"

She lifted them up as he allowed them to pass through the ceiling untouched. They flew as far from that wretched place as possible. All were silent until they landed a few miles away.

Kaylee looked at the man they had saved.

"Thorn, what happened???"

((i am ensuing my powers of GM...wahahahaha *evil laugh*))

Malvo was headed towards the ward to see the process when he saw three people escaping in the sky. He walked towards them on the ground very calmly. He saw them landing and continue walking toward them.

"What do you three think you are doing? You must come with me, don't worry you won't be going back to the ward."
Malvo pulled something out of his pocket and handcuffed them. The cuffs controlled the powers and when they tried to use them they were drained of energy.
"Follow me, and say goodbye to your little planet"

((in case you didnt realize this... we are being relocated to earth...ha ha ha.... ))


Grod looked at the screen in the room before he started and noticed that Malvo paged him. He read the text message, "turn around, I have the rest of them." Grod smiled and postponed Kim's operation and turned the ship around.

 

[Everloving]

((Cool!! What affects will this relocations have on their powers and lives. Also, Jaden has family that were captured by Malvo and his brother. What will become of them??))

"What do you three think you are doing? You must come with me, don't worry you won't be going back to the ward."


Jaden saw the amn and was about to warn Kaylee when he slapped some sort of cuffs on their hands. He tried to use his powers to release his hands, but it was no use!! He fealt his powers draining.

"What have you done!!"

Kaylee was also hard at work trying to fly them back out of there. It strained her body and her mind, but she persisted none the less. She achieved a few feet of height before passing out and falling t the ground unconscious.

"Kaylee!!" Jaden screamed.

"Follow me, and say goodbye to your little planet"

((well whatever you want can happen really... they can be captured for testing... cause you know the earthlings really want o know about that ability gene...
or they can stay on redtop in captivity... ))


Kim woke up from her anesthesia and noticed she couldn't talk still. She wasn't in the operating room but was in an extremely small bunk room. She could still remember things! She was captured by Kelvin's family and was traveling the distant planet she knew nothing about. Kim panicked. She was devising so many different escape plans. She stood up and walked out the door. She walked down the hallway and the floor was soft like fabric. Where are my shoes?! Where are my clothes? She noticed she was wearing a white gown and had nothing else on. She continued walking anyway. She found another door and walked through it. This is the entrance. This is where i saw that nice woman. I wonder if i walk through that door if i will fall to the ground. I can levitate so i shouldn't be hurt. Kim tried to open the door but failed. The door was sealed shut so nothing could come in or out. She walked to another door and it took her to another room where people were eating.
"Kim, would you like something to eat?" Puma asked.
Kim nodded yes.
"Your operation was postponed. Grod had to turn the ship around to pick up some prisoners Malvo found. He won't be returning with us. But he will have full communication with us so we know if we can evacuate Earth or not."
Kim signaled for paper and pen. She wrote, "Malvo? you meant the dictator that we tried to overthrow with Kelvin?"
Puma responded, "This might seem awkward or hard to understand, but Kelvin and Malvo are brothers. Kelvin was gathering the rebels to kill them off. Unfortunately there four of you that would not resist. You managed to remember him after he caused your amnesia. Another named Thorn escapes quickly from danger and then two children, Kaylie and Jaden, who were lucky enough to be blessed with gifts to help them escape.
The rest were killed."
Kim wrote, "But Kelvin tried to save us, he turned back the time to stop the planes and help people."
Puma replied, "Yes, I know. His emotions are complicated. The attack was a day early. He was not aware of the attack and was worried he himself was going to die. He turned back the time so you two would escape. Then three managed to escape together as well. Then Kelvin was just going to leave you four in the ward in Bluecup. It was the perfect alternative he thought. But then we told him to come get you especially and the other three if he could. Luckily Malvo has the other three."
Kim sat stunned. The man she was attracted to lied to her and they were to be married when they got to earth. She was happy that her friends had escaped the torment, but sad that they too would be leaving their home. Kim sat and ate the food placed before her. She was unfamiliar with it. The middle was chunks of brown cooked together int he shape of a patty, but with spice and juice. The outside was like bread but it seemed unauthentic. There was also a red colored sauce that tasted like vinegar on the brown patty. She wrote to Puma and asked what it was.
"This is called a hamburger. It took me awhile to become accustomed to the food on Earth. I had never eaten an animal in my life, but they have proven to provide nutrients. My ability strengthened when I ate the balanced meal according to a human. The bread unfortunately is not as good as ours. Which is why we have a room fool of wheat from Greenfloor. The center is from an animal they call a cow. Cooked it is known as beef. You will learn all of this again after your procedure. When you are done, you are more than welcome to go into your sleeping quarters. The one you came out of was the procedure waiting room. Your clothes and others are in a closet in the room. I will escort you there."
Kim liked Puma. She seemed to understand everything. Puma knew her emotions and could calm them easily by saying anything. Kim finished her food and went to her room. This room was nicer. These people were kind to their fugitives. There was a computer in the corner. Finally, something i recognize! I wonder if it is the same as the things on Redtop? Kim changed her clothes and ventured on the computer.

Kaylee awoke strapped down to bed. She looked to her side and saw Jaden. He was still unconscious.

"Jaden!!!" she whispered loudly. "Jaden, where are we??"

He would not awaken. She bagan to be afraid.

"Jaden, please wake up. I'm scared."

Kelvin was glad Malvo got the other three survivors. All of them were asleep or unconscious when Malvo brought them in but it didn't matter to him. Kelvin saw them and took them to a holding cell. He placed the kids in one and Thorn in another one. He locked the doors and left a note on the doors.
"When you wake up, press the red button by the door."
Kelvin walked off to find Kim.
He found Puma in the kitchen, "Mom, where is Kim?"
"in the guest room darling. She is our special guest, she gets special treatment." Puma said.
"As long as you take the complaints of the others when they find out they have to sleep in crummy cells."
"I will Breean."
Kelvin went to the room and found Kim astounded by the computer.
"Oh Kim, you would absolutely love the computers on Earth. Once you learn English anyway."
Kim while startled turned around and looked at him. She started using her sign language hoping he would understand by some miracle. She didn't want to write down much more. Unfortunately he looked at her in a daze.
"Here, let me change the keyboard settings so you can type in Redtopan." Kelvin said. He went onto the computer changed some settings and the keyboard letters changed. Kim smiled and began typing:
"We need to talk."
"I know Kim."
"We are to be married?"
"Yes, married and have as many kids as you can bare."
"That will be difficult. I'm afraid I had affection for you, but can't stand to look at you because you lied to me. You wanted me dead!"
"You don't understand Kim. I don't want you dead. When I didn't know you, yes I did. Earth has to evacuate to earth and we need control of the government for this to happen and the rebels had to be exterminated!"
"You and your brother are as crooked as an L-ruler"
"I know you are frustrated, but then my darling, I fell in love with you. It was not supposed to happen. And with your cooperation, you won't have to forget Redtop."
"What do you propose?"
"Oh my sweet Kim, if you agree to live life on Earth civilly and as a human, your memory won't have to be wiped out!"
"Of course I would agree, there is nothing else I can do!"
"In that case, I have work to do. I must mess up my father's serum so that you don't lose your memory."
"Don't disobey your parents, just talk to them."
"If you insist my love."
"One more question, what is this love that you speak of?"
"You have so much to learn about earth. Love is the grandest of emotions. A choice of a selfless life. It is an action of affection, that means i would die for you. It cannot be taken, only given. And Kim, I do love you. I cannot wait to be wed with you."
Kim stopped typed and urged him to the door.
"Oh your voice operation is tomorrow Kim. I can't wait to hear your voice."
Kim closed the door and fell to the ground. She went back to the computer to learn how to use it. Now that she could understand the language she played with everything. She found a search tool and search for this thing called love. She had never heard of it before, but many things came up. She read for hours.

After a few minutes, Kaylee realized that se wasn't strapped down, but her body was paralyzed. But now, she could move, so she stood up and walked to the door. She began pounding on the door and screaming for help before she realized that no one could hear her. She was about to give up and go back to Jaden, when she noticed a note.

"When you wake up, press the red button by the door."

She shrugged and looked around the room. Sure enough beside the door was a red button. she pressed it and waited to see what would happen.

kelvin noticed one of the red buttons go off. He now only had to wait for the other two to do the same. He was only going to give the speech one time. he wished his father could give the speech. He couldn't stand standing in front of a bunch of people he had betrayed. He had to talk to his mother though. Kim didn't want to lose her memory. Kelvin even wanted to go back to Redtop after awhile of living on Earth. He knew he had to go back when the evacuees moved to Redtop. But he didnt want to come back with his father. Kelvin didn't even want to kidnap Kim and destroy the rebels. Kelvin simply obeyed his father. He didn't think fo rhimself like he does now with Kim. I do truly love her. I don't want to hurt her. Why is it that my father must make me do things he wants to do? No wonder Malvo has that gift! He is just like his father! Kelvin continued on with his daily tasks, waiting for the other fugitives to wake up.

 

[RPGfreak]

Thorn jerked awake, What happened...where am I...I remember escaping the OR and fighting the guards, but this room looks nothing like any of the room in the compound. As these thoughts rush through his head he notices the note on the door. "When you wake up, push the red button by the door". He hits the button and sits back to wait.

 

[Everloving]

Kaylee began to feel impatient. She had pushed the button, and yet nothing had happened. Then, Jaden began to stur.

"Uh... where are we??"

She walked over to him as he stood up.

"I'm not sure... but I think you're supposed to push that red button on your bed..."

He did.

"So..." he sighed. "Any idea where the heck we are??"

Kelvin hear two more buzzers go off in is daily routine. He finished his task and went to the holding cells. He opened the door.
"Thorn, please follow me. Don't talk when you see the others."
Kelvin walked to the next cell.
"Don't talk, and follow me."
He walked them to the same place Kim was.
"Kim, would you follow me?"
He showed them to a meeting room and they all sat down.

Kaylee and Jaden followed. Jaden knew that they meant it when they said not to talk. Kaylee, however didn't understand what was going on.

"Okay," she stopped walking. "You're gonna tell me what the heck is going on and where we are or I'm not going a step further!!"

Kelvin stopped walking. He turned around quickly and pulled out his stun gun and but it to her head.
"If i told you where we are or where we were going you wouldn't understand. You will know when we get to the room. Now this stun gun being close to your head could possible kill you. And your buddy Jaden over there can't help you out, cause this ship has a barrier shield for abilities. unless yours is accepted into the system, you can't use it. And since we haven't fingerprinted you yet, i suggest that you follow me, or die. Either way we are still going to operate on you."
