Sorry about your experiences Red. It certainly can have a snowball effect on one's self, especially at this time of year.

jm- How awesome that so many came together in unity! If you like to read, check out the book Sea Of Glory. It's incredible! It's a true story about the WWII vessel, USAT Dorchester and how all the chaplains, of four different faiths, came together to help all on board.

Good recommendation -- I just purchased it on half.com along with a few other books. Will be a good read -- Look forward for when it gets here.

I used to homeschool.

My youngest has autism and receives therapy every morning at preschool. He's the first of my kids to go to preschool, and he enjoys it a lot.

I did okay in the lower grades, but from 7th on, forget it!

It was suppose to be released at Christmas time I thought. I also heard that The Hobbit is now in production. I just love all the LOTR movies.

Only one drawback.... I don't think Aragorn is part of the story, is he? ;-)

No, not that I know of. The Hobbit is when Bilbo is younger and he finds the Ring of Power in the cave of Gollum, I think.

My eldest is in 10th grade, I have two 4th graders, and one in kindergarten. My high-schooler wants to be homeschooled all the way through 12th grade. So far, so good. God enables us to do it every year.

That is great. My oldest children want to be homeschooled that long, too. I am also teaching my younger son Thundering Wolf (1st grade), and my 5 year old daughter Butterfly Dances.

The first time I read LOTR was 35 yrs. ago & I bought the novel, which was in one book back then. The pages were tissue thin & as big as a bible! Ahhhh...but what a good story! In fact, I still have the original book from 35 yrs. ago, which I think is about time I read it again.

We have a Big artificial tree which my husband just set up last night. We will decorate it this afternoon.
I kept wanting to get it done but couldn't find the energy. Thankfully my kids are wanting to help. I haven't done anything yet.
