Anyway, thank you for pointing out that there is a difference between Pantheism and Omnipresence. Of course you are correct--I was just looking for the "similarities of concept" and "similarities of names." On a personal note, that one was a stretch for me. But just so we are all clear with each other, I personally do myself believe God is the Creator and indwells believers via the Holy Spirit--and I do not believe that He lives within a rock or a plant. So I hear ya and I agree.

Thank you for clearing that up. I'm just trying to gain a better understanding of the way that NDNs view God.

I am truly sorry but it seems as if the person who has been accusing and harassing me is now going after my friends here. I write this to warn you ahead of time. I feared this would happen, because it has happened before on other Christian sites. Therefore, I ask you not to respond to her but instead report her. It is best if we leave this in the hands of those who are in authority here. We need to pray for them to have discernment and courage to combat this. Once again, I am sorry if any of you become a target of her personal vendetta against me. We need to pray for her.

Yes, we need to pray for her. I am truly grateful to the moderators who have helped me with this. I am especially grateful to them for deleting her entry from my guestbook. And I am grateful to all of my friends here who have prayed, encouraged, and supported me during this trial. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Please pray that this is resolved soon so that the peace can be restored here.

Peace can not be taken away if we all stay peaceful and choose to keep our peace. I for one choose to love the one who's trying to hurt us and I choose to keep peace here in our circle of discussion.

You know what, Red Fox? Anything worth doing in the Lord's eyes will have some that will try to work against you and hinder you or even destroy your work.

I pray in Jesus name that His will would be done in Red Foxes Talking Circle and in every aspect of her family life and her friendships and ministry.

Lord, bless this woman who has been hurtful To Red Fox and this thread. Teach the hurting person the truth and give her hope for tomorrow.

Osiyo! I'm cherokeehippie! Faithfulwife invited me here a few weeks ago. Sorry I hadn't come in sooner! Had to deal with stress with car problems and computer problems at the same time!! LoL. I've been in christian forums for awhile, but don't really post much, except lately in spiritual warfare section on certain topics. I think I scare some because of my views on things! LoL. I need Native christian fellowship bad!! I"m not very good at socializing or talking, but when I can, I'll share from my heart.---I'm Cherokee on my dad's side, and when I can, I go to Native christian gatherings---there are two in Tennessee I go to every year--one is at Holston Conference with Bill Miller in October every year in the Smokies. I also make pine needle baskets and I study a lot on things that may not be others cup of tea. I study about the hidden conspiracies, shadow government, the occultic masonic background of gov. etc which helps me understand why our Native ancestors went thru the stuff they did, such as the boarding schools and forced sterlization, etc. Don't worry...I won't be talking about such dismal subjects all the time, here! I know I'm to live a balanced life in Creator, Tsisa(Jesus in Cherokee), and not go overboard in a certain thing...maybe I get too heavy for other Believers I want to share more but can't think right now..glad to be here!!

Oh, I'm just like you! I don't know much of the language, either! I didn't grow up in the culture..my family hid and lost the culture. My aunt one time after learning about the Trail of Tears, asked my great-grandmother "grandma, was our family on the Trail of Tears" and she answered, "No, hon, we had our own Trail of Tears."
There is a story that one of my ancestors was hidden in a cave with her two brothers, by slaves--because the family was being forced off the land for being NDN.. I believe this was at the time of the Trail of Tears when they where rounding our people up in the stockades--speaking of...did you know that more of the people died in the stockades, than on the Trail itself?? Rumor is, that Hitler got his idea of the concentration camps from what Jackson and the gov did to our people--being put in stockades before being sent on the Trail.
Just saw a documentary on Andrew Jackson tonight. I had to grit my teeth thru the episode! Someone mention knowing some Native people who refuse to take 20 dollar bills and prefer 10's than to see Jackson's face on the 20!! Me...I always like to flick my finger against his face in disgust!! LOL

Welcome here to attempts at individual reconciliation with the past and with the state of an increasingly evil world of men , many of whom claiming to be of a loving religion as they go our to fight , or simply heap up enmpty promises on bits of paper that they think is security, at cost to others ....

Apparently the Arabs in th Holy Land dig up the Hebrew tombstones and place them in the latrines so men can pee on them...

Does this lead to reconciliation ?

You may well note that the Arabs do not want reconciliation, they still want war, but does that tell you anything about yourself and how much you have come to terms with loss and pain?

Can we bear injustice done against us, even to death as Jesus did ?

Can we know it is purest love to do so?

Is not peace in our hearts to believe in love
that goes beyond this world
that knows our pain here
that knows we must have it for sake of love
of all people
and thus of the Great Spirit
of all people ?

Will you be part of our tears and love in coming to reconcile our own selves to peace of faith in love that defines our future ?
