My kids were sick a couple weeks ago and are now sick again. Here we go with round two. Sure would appreciate your prayers that this would finally go away. Thank you.

Halito dear talking circle friends! I'm stopping in today just to say "howdy" since our dear little Red Fox is feeling anxious. Life here at Faithful's house has been moving along but hard for me lately.

First, just in general I've noticed quite a slowdown here on CF so there are fewer people, less being said, and not as much to talk about. (Also, my observation is that it's more "debating theology and doctrines" type stuff, and less open-arms friendship type stuff--and the feeling is a bit more hostile.) So I angel around and say hi and give blessings, but it's been shorter the last few days.

In sad news, our niece recently had her baby on Friday May 2nd (a perfect boy, Rain Lee Henry) and on Saturday May 3rd he died due to something wrong with his kidneys. Although that has not completely brought life to a standstill, it has impacted us greatly and I personally have moments...

Finally, the fact is my dear hubby's health is not good right now. He has CFS (Chronic Fatigue) --along with years of living the hard life--that seem to be catching up with him. For the past two weeks he hurt his back so I've been working full-time and then doing all the rest of the work at home too. To be honest, it's exhausting and slowly but surely I am falling behind because I just can't do it all by myself. Meanwhile he is resting, trying to recover, and his back just will not pop back in place...so he can barely walk.

Oh family life is such a joy! There's always something!

Wow, you sure are dealing with a Lot right now.

I am so sorry about baby Rain. What a beautiful name he has. I pray Jesus' comfort for his Mama and for all of your family.

We can sure understand your husband's back pain! Yes indeed, it can make you unable to walk or do much of Anything. I pray he will get better soon. And chronic fatigue...wow....just one of those problems alone would be hard, never mind having both at the same time!

And I will remember you in my prayers for strength and peace in your heart as you deal with all of this. I am sorry....the past couple weeks were hard for our family also. My 2nd oldest daughter was in the hospital and I had a run-in with a doctor, which then sent DSS to our house...long story short, things are ok now. But it was scary.

I know family issues can really break our hearts sometimes. Things will get better. Love to you and yours!!

Good morning my sweet friends of the Talking Circle! I hope each of you has a good day. What are your plans for the Memorial Day weekend?

We plan to take our family to the drive in this weekend to see Prince Caspian. And I can't Wait to see the new Indiana Jones movie!!

I've seen Prince Caspian already. It's very good. I do want to see Indiana Jones too. I'm going with my family to Arkansas to visit my in-laws. Please keep us in your prayers, because it's going to be long drive with 7 children and 2 dogs.

Whoa! Yes, I'll be praying for a safe and peaceful, enjoyable trip. We've taken 2 long car trips in recent years with 8 of us in the car, so I can understand!

What kind of dogs do you have?

We have Coco, and she's a chocolate lab. Then there's Snickers, and she's a border collie, chow-chow mix.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not going to be here again until Tuesday. My family and I are going out of town for the Memorial Day weekend. We still need to get packed and ready to go. Please keep my family and I in your prayers as we will be traveling for at least 7 hours on the road. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend. God bless you all. Our plans for Memorial Day weekend are great! We are going to sleep-in, relax, garden in our yards, play with our children, and make meals together as a family! Tonight we had the brats and hotdogs on the grill meal and tomorrow it's roast. YUM! Seriously, we are just kicking back all weekend.
