Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Sure, Father Rick should liaise with constance and the Recovery Team to develop some guidelines over the forum. The pastoral team has been told they cannot post there, just observe. Can that be changed dramatically?
100% agree with you. Father Rick is wise enough to know this.I've helped some be delivered online before. But those who are as deep in some of this stuff as is seen on here at times, must get help in real life and all the 'counsel' on a message board just won't cut it. They need help from a deliverance ministry, not just from pastors or ministers who do not have that particular calling.
If they are sincere, they will give you there name and info and you can find someone in their area to help them.
will there be a list of Staff that have the icon? I think Staff's should be visible as its part of our forum.Yes, the member may want it to remain private that they have a past of being involved in the occult.
I didn't say it was easy. But if one wants relief, then they have to be willing to do the hard things.
Please check the first post in this thread - I posted the links which were sent to me via the PM.
It was in the wikis, and I knew about it before its creation. The link to the discussion is here. http://foru.ms/t6128006&nw_show=comments
It was on an open thread - how much more public can it get? Are there degrees here?

Then you agree with me. Sometimes those who seek help need to be sheltered from those who call themselves Christians.I was told by a Pastor of a Church I was attending that I was not welcome there anymore when I went to him for help with my problems. He said that Christians don't suffer from mental illness and that I was not praying enough.
I was told by another Pastor that my family was unwelcome because my daughter (who was self-mutilating at the time) was a "bad-influence" on the youth group she was attending. The saddest thing there was that the group had been helping her to stop, and she got 5x worse after being kicked out.
Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Erwin, that seems to bother some.
this was in response to post 183
Oh I am sorry - next time we'll drag in the fireworks for you
what you SHOULD do is shut the whole thing down. Erwin, you have UNQUALIFIED people trying to do this..pastoral doesn't seem interested. NEVER mind the fact, IF people want REAL help, they will go to someone in REAL Life. They NEEd that. WHAT if someone gets sucicidal? People can't jump through the screen and help them. GET real. This is just a huge problem waiting to happen.First thing I've done is changed the name from:
Beth She'an: City of Refuge
to
Recovery from the occult
since the name seems to be controversial for some people.
What goes on here at times needs more than one person to handle them .And like I said some are too deep to help other than in real life.100% agree with you. Father Rick is wise enough to know this.

I would prefer it be located in one of the recovery forums as in you can see the forum name only BUT it be set up private like Recovery reports. or Site Supporter threads are. see the name of the forum but cannot view it unless you got the authorization.
Frankly, that applies to the whole Recovery and Mental Health section. Based on your argument, we should close that whole section. But we do have some people who are qualified, either by qualification or by experience.what you SHOULD do is shut the whole thing down. Erwin, you have UNQUALIFIED people trying to do this..pastoral doesn't seem interested. NEVER mind the fact, IF people want REAL help, they will go to someone in REAL Life. They NEEd that. Past is one thing. But what about those who do not want to change? That'ss not the past. They want to continue in the wrong direction.
And may I ask you this?
All the Mods, Supermods, Supervisors,Admins, all staff over them and these kinds of private groups- are they only Christian staff? Thats the only way they be helped.
