Had this idea after posting in a recent thread over at sf/c forum.

The idea is that it would be a thread where ppl who have personal disputes could "hash it out" and get their differences resolved. Ideally, there could be an arbitrator involved that they both could agree on.

There's attitudes that have been floating around here forever, and alot of bad blood. And although you could just say "That's what pm's are for" If an arbitrator was involved there would be more accountability for what was said, as well as a means to dissipating 'tudes or feelings.

Isn't it ultimately about reconciliation, providing no one has an agenda?

There is the Private Mediation forum where two members can work it out with a mediator. If someone is interested in something like that, they can always contact the Admins to set something up.

Further, (not that Im an expert here or anything) but Ive been here for over 8 years and this is the first time I've heard of it.

That's because one it is fairly new ( as to why you have not heard of it) and two it is private meaning that the ONLY posts/threads a member will be able to see are those in which they either stared or are directly involved in handling meaning a party in the dispute.

This idea & forum is one of the best things to happen here in a long time.
