You mean God's elect were enemies to God but not under wrath?
This sounds even more confusing. In what way were they seen by God as enemies then?

Scripture is right, your interpretation of Scripture is wrong.Im right because the scripture is right. Sinners who Christ died for are'nt condemned while they are unbelieving enemies, because they are reconciled to God. Rom 5:10
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

This is to me the very obvious teaching of Scripture. I don't think you can get around that.

Christ died for all sinners, not just the ones that will be saved.
All sinners are condemned if they do not believe in Jesus.
Only those who believe in Jesus will be saved.

>Attend church with like minded people
>pray daily
>love daily
>Do good works (no matter how small or big) daily

Reading this thread has been interesting and somewhat confusing but am I off the mark in saying that the above is the basis of reconciliation with God?

Only the death of Christ and His resurrection could bring about our reconciliation.
And the benefit of that reconciliation (being adopted as sons and spending eternity in Heaven with God) is received through faith in Christ.
Rom 5:8-11 - "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also celebrate in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation."Thank you, so we are already reconciled?
